whitedoorbell · 08/05/2014 21:23

super Sad sending big hugs to you.

come and laugh at me to take your mind off it for a few seconds xxxx

SuperFlyHigh · 08/05/2014 21:29

ooh waitrose! that is posh. yes, maybe you should age the grill pan, burn some cheese on it or something!

Thanks… I just feel sad. This man (though I was too young etc) he was just so nice. bought me a huge Tigger christmas card and lovely present (posh french perfume and oil lamp) for Christmas, invited me to his parents place in France for Xmas (I couldn't go) handmade sweets and chocs for V day etc…

If he was nasty or unpleasant in any way I'd feel you know justified in you know, hard to explain, but he wasn't, he was lovely. Sad

DeliberatelyDreaming · 08/05/2014 21:30

Wow, busy evening on here. Smile

I had such a giggle earlier, I was chatting away to this guy on line, really sweet, only a year younger than me and HOT. My DD 17 walked in, saw his picture and told me I should stop talking to him. I asked her why, she said "if you two end up together it would be highly inappropriate as I would fancy my step dad". Yep dear I can still pull the hot ones. Grin

DeliberatelyDreaming · 08/05/2014 21:34

White Calm down, you're getting all hot and flustered. You never know, he may have a fetish for sparkling grill pans. Grin

SuperFlyHigh · 08/05/2014 21:35

Deliberately - could you imagine if he was like one of those cleaning obsessives you see on C4 programmes highly unlikely but you never know

whitedoorbell · 08/05/2014 21:36

SuperFlyHigh · 08/05/2014 21:39

what does Bike mean? is it like 'on yer bike'? cos that's a new smiley

whitedoorbell · 08/05/2014 21:42

super doh!!

gutted I don't have the bike one.
going ti hoover under my bed then come back

DeliberatelyDreaming · 08/05/2014 21:43

Ha ha Super It would be brilliant, get together he could do all the housework and us girlies could all do the shopping - bliss!

He has gone off to work White we might text, if not tonight tomorrow. He is a real sweetie. I think he may be dyslexic but I don't want to just come out and ask him, anyway, it doesn't make any difference. The pedant in me internally shrieks, but the Juliet swoons.

DeliberatelyDreaming · 08/05/2014 21:45

Confused I have the Bike too.

BramblePie · 08/05/2014 21:47

Hello everyone, I am not on here enough to keep up with this thread!

Well, i got my STD results back, all clear hurray! I remember mentioning to him i had it done and said in a joke way "so ill let you know how i get on" and he raised his eyebrows. I didnt mean i was being tested because i thought i might have something because ive been sleeping around (i havent). I meant it that i didnt know what HE had been up to and had unprotected sex! I dont think he registered that though. So i am seeing him tomorrow and will say i am clear but now i want him to be checked as the nurse said he could have something lying dormant.

I am getting a bit anonyed with him though. I really really like him but he doesnt txt too much and i a always the one to arrange dates. However he always agrees to meet me and does surprise me with txts when i am not expecting them.
I did find out he isnt divorced like he told me on the first date though. He is legally separated though does have the divorce papers to sign. I want to asky why he hasnt signed yet but i wont.

Also, he is moving to a place 30 mins away. That isnt far but it is when i drive an hour in the opposite direction to work and back :( Dunno what to do because now i am attached.

neil please tell me you are not 6 foot tall with broad shoulders - sorry going into slight fantasy mode now!! Grin

It's funny you say you like real women. In my profile I describe myself as "not a girly girl. I think there are more important things in life than immaculate hair and perfect nails." I've wondered whether this has put people off - maybe they think I am a slob?? Advice please??!!

DeliberatelyDreaming · 08/05/2014 22:10

I'm not a slob Bigbird but I don't ever go for a manicure. My nails are quite brittle and snap easily, so I keep them shortish. They look anything but glamorous. I do have a thing about my skin and hair and they are always 'just so' even if I'm not going anywhere. I have slobbed in PJ's today as I haven't had to go out. I have to go out tomorrow and when out I always look neat, not sort of date clothes or anything, but I hate jogger bottoms and tops, they make me look awful.

whitedoorbell · 08/05/2014 22:15

scarey hope yr not laughing at my grill pan and naice ham????

Wink
neiljames77 · 08/05/2014 22:18

Sorry to bust the fantasy. I'm 5'11".

I've been quiet because I had to pick my daughter up and go to the shop. That's all.

DeliberatelyDreaming · 08/05/2014 22:20

I think your grill pan is going to keep this thread in amusement for some time White Grin

whitedoorbell · 08/05/2014 22:22

glad you enjoyed it... I will be the happy one if it all works out with baldy and you ladies will be rushing out to buy oven pride pronto!!!

we could have a wedding cake with a grill pan on top with 2 figures gazing into each others eyes across it Grin

DeliberatelyDreaming · 08/05/2014 22:25

OMG!!! Coffee all over the keyboard - thanks White!! Grin

whitedoorbell · 08/05/2014 22:35

when don't comes back I will tell her to put it in her book. .. grill pan and naice ham. .. could be where we have all been going wrong ladies Grin

neiljames77 · 08/05/2014 22:44

I think if I saw a profile that said, "I'm not a girly girl", I might be thinking, "is this a ladette that's going to drink loads of pints of lager, then fart in bed and push my head under the duvet?" Grin

I don't know how you could get across that you're not fake really in a profile. You couldn't put that you are 'natural' because some blokes might take it to mean that you've got armpit hair that makes you look like you've got Cher in a headlock. Grin

whitedoorbell · 08/05/2014 22:45

bramble not sure what has been going on with you...
do you see a future in it? sounds a bit hard work tbh... but whatever works for you
