Get painting and tidying ordinary Wink

ManofMystery · 01/11/2013 13:33

Ham-sounds great, so has he told you plans or is it a surprise?

ordinarybloke · 01/11/2013 13:45

Powpow, I will blame it all on my nearly 3yo DS-especially as he is not with me this weekend.

Hamwidgeandcheps · 01/11/2013 14:34

The house deal
Breaker for me is a minging bathroom I can handle the rest but if a grown man can't clean his loo/sink I can't shag him!

ordinarybloke · 01/11/2013 14:46

Thanks for the tip Ham,I will get my marigolds on.

ManofMystery · 01/11/2013 14:51

Agreed-bathrooms and kitchens need to be clean. As do the bedsheets! I haven't been out with anyone too mucky but had a mate I used to work with who never cleaned his loo. And I mean never. I am a bloke and even I found it totally disgusting. Little wonder his sex life was non-existent...

powpow80 · 01/11/2013 15:01

Man your colleague sounds gross. I bet there was a few girls who ran screaming from the place. Clean bed sheets and loo definitely a must. I'm heading out tonight best do a quick bedroom tidy just in case Wink If only.

ManofMystery · 01/11/2013 15:04

Pow-put it like this: he lives in the same flat for nearly 3 years with a flat mate and shared one bathroom. I don't think they cleaned it once!! I don't care where a gal lives but it does need a modicum of cleanliness!

powpow80 · 01/11/2013 15:06

I actually nearly three up in my mouth a little reading that. Had a horrible mental image of the most stained toilet mankind has ever seen. Please Jesus tell me he is still single?

ManofMystery · 01/11/2013 15:16

Ha ha he still is but his flat mate is now err married! I won't go into details but the stains on the toilet bowl were the least of my concerns...!

powpow80 · 01/11/2013 15:39

I want to know more! What was the most disgusting thing?

ManofMystery · 01/11/2013 15:51

Try a damp patch on the carpeted floor and both guys were dark haired. All over. I think that is enough....! It's meant to be a dating thread after all!!

powpow80 · 01/11/2013 15:57

Sorry for the hijack thread. Just idle curiousity got the better of me. Can't understand carpet in a bathroom.

Anyhoo, back to dating. Nothing on for me this weekend. How about everyone else?

RafaellaNhaKyria · 01/11/2013 16:51

I agree. A bit of a cluttery mess I can tolerate but a horrible bathroom would put me right off. Holy smokes...a bathroom not cleaned in three years? I would be running for the hills.

A few months ago had a couple dates with Social Worker. We got on well, but never met up again after we dtd too soon and both got weird about it (although it was utterly fab). Anyway, we've gotten back in contact and seem to have overcome the weirdness. I've just texted him suggesting a date this weekend. We shall see. God, he's gorgeous and such a nice person. Although he did say something during sex that made me Hmm i'm going to overlook it as I really did just enjoy being around him.

RafaellaNhaKyria · 01/11/2013 16:58

The carpet bit has made me feel a bit ill...

kittymchotpress · 01/11/2013 17:02

quick real time query (apologies for butting in Grin) am dipping toe back into online malarkey...usual nonsense, penpals, randoms but first (only! ) date set for tonight...got a message at 1 to say very sorry but he's ill...would like to rearrange but will understand if I don't. do I apply the benefit of the doubt once?...This happened to me once before and lo and behold he was a timewaster. what do you reckon?

powpow80 · 01/11/2013 17:06

I would give him the benefit of the doubt. He didn't cancel last minute and seems keen to rearrange.

HelloBoys · 01/11/2013 17:16

Am I awful? I would give benefit of doubt but mark his card...

ex-BF was a bit like this - cancelled last minute a few times then got into his stride and was all over me like a rash...

Manofmystery - yeah - sorry what can I say about the HR guy - seriously it was the size of my thumb and I have small hands when erect. he'd been married so it'd worked for them but... great kisser though!

ManofMystery · 01/11/2013 17:19

Pow-no problem at all! Neither guy was into cleaning, especially after anything that was excreted from the other. So yes, I did accidentally stand on damp carpet in my socks...carpet is definitely not good on a bathroom with men about for obvious reasons...

Kitty-sounds a bit crap letting you know at 5pm on my opinion. However I would give him the benefit of the doubt if you are into him. Course I would not think too deeply into things but you knew that...

I have a blind first date tomorrow evening. A friend has set me up but not sure she will be the one. Still, could be a fun night and nice to meet someone new.

powpow80 · 01/11/2013 17:38

Blind dates are fun man. Your friend obviously thinks that ye would get on. Worth a shot.

Hope the sock went straight into the bin. Eurgh

ManofMystery · 01/11/2013 17:52

HelloBoys-don't tell me it disappeared behind your thumb? Hope he could last longer than a few thrusts at the very least?! Poor lad..

Pow-yep, I threw the sock away but had the dilemma of whether or not to wash my feet in the filthy bath!

kittymchotpress · 01/11/2013 18:39

thanks all...will give him the benefit of the doubt and pen an upbeat response, and then dismiss it from my mind...I think he is a bit of a delicate soul so this scenario kind of fits the bill, but if he is a knobber/player I'll know soon enough.

I'm 46 and previously subtracted one year (to fit the 45 year bracket) but haven't bothered this time and haven't noticed a difference.

scuzzy bathroom is a deal breaker...boak!

kittymchotpress · 01/11/2013 18:45

oh and also experienced an infeasibley small penis once...difficult to know what to do with it. lovely guy, still speak to him 25 years later, but still think about it when I see him but he's had a child since so it obviously worked...maybe it was just all the others were very well put together...Grin

Hamwidgeandcheps · 01/11/2013 19:34

Book at the carpet and and sock. Ganking.

Carpets in bathrooms are weird and wrong and very dated. Mind you if a grown man can't wee in the loo and not on the floor Lino won't save him!

Also boak at the thumb penis but I feel bad for blokes like that it's not their fault. The carpet is!!

An on the day cancelling would annoy me. If I had arranged a sitter that would be a deal breaker for me.

ManofMystery · 01/11/2013 19:43

To be fair to the guy, it was a few years ago and he was renting the place. He now has his own flat which is in a pretty swanky part of London but an absolute tip. Some never learn etc..

So ladies, which is worse, a small penis or a 'pump, pump, squirt' kinda guy?!
