I don't know what to make of this.

DP always told me he hadn't done something.

I discovered today that he had.

It's not a bad thing, but it's really weird that he never told me.

I don't even know why I'm posting. I feel odd and rather unsettled. Like I don't know him.

You said it was a very bad time in his life. Maybe that's why he doesn't talk about it.

My BiL dropped out of uni after a very bad time in his life (before my sis knew him) and never talks about it. Not because of anything sinister. Just because it's a chapter of his ife he wants to forget / move on from.

He says he didn't know what to say. He says it was an horrendous time in his life He also said we will talk about it sometime.

I don't know if he had realised the photo was at his sisters.

I'm going to leave it and see what comes out in the longer term, as it were. He's generally a good bloke and I have no other concerns about him at all. So this was out of the blue and out of character for him, hence why I was shocked.
