Will this become the live birth thread? Will Lodger 1 leave? Will waves be smiling throughout this thread?

Doula is on call, bags are packed, acrobat was a teeny 14 weeks foetus when I started posting - he is about to become DC3, I'll stop being sick and a whole new chapter will begin.

My doula is taking me up. The consultant s pa just called after she spoke to my doula who said I need to go to the ward. So just need to try to stop crying and ensure DCs are dressed. I'm scared now.

Scared is normal. Don't worry about that. Excitement will come soon. Your baby will be here soon .

Waves, I hope you have a smartphone so are still picking up messages - brave lady, it will go well. You have a doula, you are going to the hospital, all will be well and by the end of today (hopefully!) you will have a snuffly little baby to hold and love til your heart bursts with it.
It's the start of a new love affair; and you will feel healed by it. And you'll stop feeling/being sick!

Thank you all. Just waiting for my doula to arrive, she's fetching us all and dropping DCs to my friend on the way.

So uncomfortable, and my legs are absolutely killing me. No idea what that is about. I have a smart phone so will check in if I can. At least by going up I can find out if this is labour and of not, they can try to work out what is wrong as this level of pain is not normal.

Don't be scared now waves. You have come so far. You are ready and so is Acrobat. Time to meet.
