In Zimbabwe in the staff dining room at the school we both worked at.

Met DH at school. He joined the sixth form attached to my school. He was kind of seeing a friend of mine when we met, but not for long!

Well I think I first saw him when I was about 11 & he was doing a village tug of war competition over the river & I was hoping he would fall in as he was a bit of an idion IMO!

Then I met him again the next year in my street (our parents live in the same street) & thought he was great and we've been together ever since (this was almost 10 years ago!)

In a gay pub. He was with his gay flatmate and so was I. Weirdly my bf also met her husband in a gay club.

Dh was my so-called 16th birthday present from my then bf. She'd been trying to set me up with him since January, but I wasn't interested (hadn't actually met him), but tricked me into a blind date just before my birthday. It'll be 20 years next May (makes me feel very very old )

I wonder if the hamster's doing OK though!

met him whilst I was working part time at a bar in the UK. Had gone to teach and travel etc. Started helping out friend's mum at the pub she managed... met dh across the bar - pouring cold guinness for him and as they say the rest is history.

been together 5 years and have 2 gorgeous dds.

Met my DH originally in the pub. He was friends with me and my first husband. We became close after I was there for him when he split with GF and he was there for me when ex-H started cheating on me with various women he met through the internet and eventually we fell in love and ended up together. That was five years ago, we have a wonderful year old DS and I have never been happier.
