The first one started by a bloke?

OP posts:
Bant · 04/05/2013 15:11

To the Facebook 'I can't see myself with any woman now' I'd respond with a 'oh, did I turn you gay? Sorry' but then I've had several glasses of wine. And I'm a bloke.

One husband just found out apparently. Large chap. Feck. I'll be leaving soon I think.

Pomegranatenoir · 04/05/2013 15:24

I hate my ex. Hate him. If ever I was in any doubt about his twatiish potential then today's performance has confirmed it for me. Idiot. My poor children and poor me.

I am going out tonight and going to get drunk and talk to as many men as possible!!!!!

Twat twat twat twat.

Titto has texted my mum to say he's reducing his maintenance payments by quite a bit "due to a change in circumstances". No details or anything. What should I do? Get my mum to ask for evidence of this change? Go to the CSA? In big difficulties financially due to this and all the child care costs. No idea how I will manage.

It's not going to be a new job (I know this but can't explain on here) so it looks like he's having a new baby, unless anyone can come up with an alternative? Am desperately worried if so due to the abuse he put my two through. What can/should I do? Don't have his address or any details.

Twat.

That's shit OWW you should contact the csa

ALittleStranger · 04/05/2013 17:03

Just noticed that a former date has added five years to his age. I'm not sure I'm allowed to feel put out when we only shared a few drinks. But I feel vindicated at least because I spent the first 20 minutes being distracted by how much older I thought he looked than advertised I'd put it down to hard living.

Bant · 04/05/2013 17:08

Bugger. Stranger, I've lived hard at times. I'm 39. Can I say I'm 26?

mercury7 · 04/05/2013 17:19

it seems almost everyone over 40 knocks a few years off, I suspect it starts out small, say you're 42 and you put in your profile that you're 40,
and then you just sort of stay 40 for the next 10 years

OhWesternWind · 04/05/2013 17:38

I'm 42 and my profile says, erm, 42 ...

Indie is busy tidying ready for tomorrow. Grin.

Bant · 04/05/2013 17:54

So how suspicious is it that three main blokes on this thread, me, voice and bill, are all 39?

I'm 46 and my profile says 46, does this mean I should be lying ? Bollocks to that.

OWW sorry to hear about increased twattishness from El Twatto, I can only echo the suggestion to talk to the CSA, surely they have the authority to enquire into his financial affairs and must have Safeguarding Children protocols in place.

Pom -what's up ?

Bant what on earth did she tell him for ?

Pomegranatenoir · 04/05/2013 18:30

Seems minor now compared to oww trouble but basically he turned up late again for the children after not having any contact whatsoever in a fortnight - not even a text to ask how they are. During this time dd learnt to walk and ds got school of my choice. I text in the morning to ask if he was coming, text when he was half hour late no reply then called after 45 mins and got a mouthful off him about bank holiday traffic. The. When he got here he was vile. No questions on when they were due dinner, sleeps etc. he had a big go at me even though it was him in the wrong and he accused me of putting lies in divorce petition. I haven't he just doesn't like seeing in black and white all the horrific things he has done to me. I was late for hairdresser appointment. I have got my babies back now and bathed and in pjs ready for bed then in going out with my friends to chat to as many men as possible!!!

ALittleStranger · 04/05/2013 18:47

Apparently it's worth a punt Bant.

My upper age limit for matches is 35 and I had previously found it odd that a disproportionate number of men claimed to be 35 and with a wide range of ruggedness on show. Now I suspect half the 35 year olds are lying.

mercury7 · 04/05/2013 19:22

of course I'm not suggesting that anyone ought to lie...but as far as I can tell lots of people do! :o

KinNora · 04/05/2013 19:33

I'm not surprised you're angry Pom the man sounds like an inconsiderate arse. Get your flirt pants on and enjoy yourself.

Flipper924 · 04/05/2013 20:28

Yep, on with the flirting pants, Pom, and flirt like Lady Flirtwell of Flirtington Hall.

OWW, no advice, but I hope you find a way forward.

Bant, you've made it out alive, then?

I'm 42, my profile says 42. I'd lie if it was possible to change my age, but i can't be arsed to delete and redo my profile! I think my pictures are all fairly recent- within 3 years- is that reasonable?

KinNora · 04/05/2013 20:32

I'd say that's reasonable Flipper, one of mine is 18 months old and the others are a couple of months old.

Still don't know what I'm going to wear tomorrow, almost unheard of.

OhWesternWind · 04/05/2013 21:09

What type of underwear, more to the point, Nora?

KinNora · 04/05/2013 21:27

It sort of depends what I'm wearing on top, but I have promised him stockings OWW so them and maybe my primadonna bra which is a fricking miracle of Belgian engineering. I might wear my Vivien of Holloway navy polka dot dress to dinner, it depends ( it's designed so you can go bra-less, this may be too risky a strategy ).

What are you wearing tomorrow night ?
