Turn off the read receipt thing,Wine, that way madness lies. It all sounds okay. Sometimes I read texts and because I'm about to drive or go shopping or have someone round I don't answer for a while. I got like this so badly about LM, haven't had a twinge of anxiety yet about Indie.

Pom sorry your ex is being such a tit. That's actually much harder to deal with than my one because, very thankfully, I don't have to see him. Someone being a twat from a distance is far easier to cope with. Hope it gets better soon.

Kirsty I hope you hear back off him but like you say, there are more where he came from.

My take on it is, as a rule, someone who wants a relationship (candlelight/flowers etc) will want a date and want it to be special. Someone who is asking to 'meet' at short notice, especially when pissed, wants a shag

I have been messaging a quite lovely guy who lives in my town tonight .. I suspect Kiltykilty is going to be a vanisher so an arranging to meet him next Saturday night instead .. We will see .. I'm not really one for seeing 2 at the same time

Oh I do love a bit of insomnia before a date, could there be anything more attractive than enormous dark circles and grumpiness ? Bloody typical.

Kiltykilty has been constantly online on POF but I've not heard from him since Friday tea time .. Very disappointing as I thought he was more honest than that and would have told me he is seeing someone else ( but there again maybe I'm plan b)

I think if you want to blow him off, blow him off. It's difficult because you're not exclusive at this stage and neither of you could really assume that, but it is a blow when someone is apparently so keen on you that they spend their entire time trawling the OD sites for someone else!

Yes Kiltykilty has been on POF pretty much constantly since I met him.. I'm not bothered as there are another couple waiting to take his place if he disappears ( or I like therockclimber better)

Kirsty I know fwb is a kind of no strings arrangement but there's something a little shabby about Kilty's lack of openness, it's a little offputting, isn't it ? Rock Climber sounds promising, especially the being able to turn up at short notice - quick ! It's a shag emergency !

OWW what time are you heading over to Indie's ? Are you sticking with a more easy to remove casual outfit ?

I did get some sleep, I was woken by the arrival of a very short email from you know who, which made it hard for me to drop off again.

Showbiz is picking me up at 2, I have anxieties relating to (a) his beard (b) the possible hirsuteness of his chest and/or back (c) whether I'm going to have to fight him off (d) whether he's going to put me in mind of a Jack Russell, frantically thrusting at a visitor's leg,thus negating the positive gusset-dampening qualities of his excellent kissing. Basically I'm just fretting.

On the plus side, I should get a decent tea.

Dolly you should spend the time doing things you love but you don't get a chance to do when the kids are there, lie in the bath, listening to music, swigging a g&t, sunbathing without being mithered, watching telly they'd moan about, take yourself out for lunch, the list is endless.

Kin I love a man with a hairy chest, it's something nice and soft to rest your head on . Hairy backs and/or shoulders are utterly wrong though...and it's quite rare (unfortunately) to find one without the other!
