DH & I have been separated a year now. We are in a relationship but he is still pretty unhappy a lot of the time despite having "space" ie his own home, psychotherapy & refuses to take medication which is his choice. He says he wants to all live together again eventually but I'm starting to be concerned about living with his moods & he keeps moving the goal posts regarding this anyway.

I've started to come to the conclusion that I need to decide what I want to do on my own & I'd love the kids to grow up in more of a close knit community of all ages. I'm estranged from my parents & brother & also DH's family & obviously don't spend most days with him either.
It's just an idea at the moment.

Minimammoth · 29/04/2013 20:55

It sounds as if it could be very supportive for you Midwife.

themidwife · 29/04/2013 21:11

Maybe!! I guess it would be important to get on with the "neighbours "! Smile

I guess it's easier to form friendships if you're working outside the home if you move to a new area.

Minimammoth · 30/04/2013 08:39

I was up until 2am but had no one to play with!!! Sad

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 30/04/2013 12:21

I was up till 4.30 but searching for a house and trying to settle a very unhappy littlebittykitty. Not like her to be unhappy. Sad Then awake again from 7.20 Shock

Harriet, I wish you were here, I'd be your friend. I'm more 'Paul Temple and his wife Steve' than 'Lord W and Miss V' but I bet we would get on famously Grin

Are you going to toddler groups now or are you at work full time?

Thanks Harriet We've had a lovely day but as always when tired, she has more accidents and is prone to hurt herself more Sad and she gets very clingy and upset. But she spent ages chasing a cat around our garden which pleased her no end Smile How's little Harriet monster? Glad he's well again.

Here's to a good night for all Smile

Evening. Where are you all? I have been trying to work through my lists, but someone keeps adding stuff onto them. Have been reasonably lumpy free too, amazingly, even risked smoked haddock, fingers crossed.
Clearly it takes quite a few days to recover from one of Jynier's parties.
