Stoic I'm sorry, I haven't been able to follow your links yet but by all accounts your boy is something to be proud of. Smile

Thank you for your kind wishes too.

mini where did you go? So sorry about fluffycat Sad. Those blasted tom cats eh? Poor fluffy. Can littlekitty have a balloon too please? She loves them Smile

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 28/04/2013 20:48

Damn, took too long composing and she woke up Sad

themidwife · 28/04/2013 20:55

Ah Kitty - it 's unusual for them to actually fit. I think the problem we had was that DooDoo (as I call her) will NEVER take any medicine of any kind. We have tried hiding it in milk, squirting it in with a syringe, lying on her & holding her down, bribery & corruption. NO WAY! So she got hotter & hotter & hotter. I was stripping her & sponging her down & she went absent & then fitted. Paramedics came, she regained consciousness but had to go in for review because she was under 3. Afterwards DH said he thought she was dying SadSadSad
I was calmer I guess because I know it's just an electrical brain storm & rarely has any complications but it was still horrible.
I think the main thing is to keep LittleBittyKitty cool & calpol her up.
I'm surprised she's still so into your milk! Alot of women find that when they're pregnant their toddlers seem to find the taste have changed & go off it ! You must be absolutely exhausted!! Eat lots of these!! BiscuitBiscuit
Really hope you get a better night Thanks

themidwife · 28/04/2013 20:56

Poor FluffyCat !! Sad

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 28/04/2013 21:17

Thank you themidwife Thanks

I am exhausted Sad

I just tried to put her in her cot and she woke and cried again. I've been rocking and feeding since 8. She keeps going off but wakes when I move. Usually she can be put into her cot without any problems.

She takes medicines very well, luckily.

Yes, I've heard that about the pregnancy milk. It happened to my friend. What can I say- she's just obsessed with the bitty Grin

Doo-doo Grin. Gorgeous Bear

cafecito · 28/04/2013 21:22

Stoic Archie is a genius! wow that's just beautiful talent. Amazing!!!

cafecito · 28/04/2013 21:24

kitty how is littlekitty? DS likes to have febrile convulsions [grrrr] but yes it's pretty rare, just stick to a normal low dose of calpol, blabla, you're not daft.. but yeah, if you're worried, don't hesitate to call someone.

I have been away since the party... I have a new laptop I have yet to set up (who knew Microsoft word was only valid on one computer these days, sheeesh)

I also spent many hours helping jynier clear up her house. I swept the floors and everything. I found a sootikin and a bruised butler.

cafecito · 28/04/2013 21:29

harriet try here just click on the squiggly thing at the top without signing in

cafecito · 28/04/2013 21:31

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 28/04/2013 21:41

Shock Who's going to own up to losing a sootikin? we all know who did for the butler Grin

Thanks Harriet they seem to have worked Smile. She's actually let me put her down and leave her room finally. That must have been your lovely breezes. Smile Let's see how long it lasts. She must be exhausted too. I hope littleharriet sleeps well tonight. How has he been today?

Thanks cafe for your comprehensive medical advice Grin

How are things with you?

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 28/04/2013 21:43

Crossed posts there doc

No, she's perfect otherwise. Very funny, learning a new sign or sound almost every day. A little beauty

starsandunicorns · 28/04/2013 21:58

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 28/04/2013 22:10

Hi stars, you've been missed. Want to talk about it? Brew

cafecito · 28/04/2013 22:19

hi stars (((_))) that's a huggy thing Bear Thanks Wine

kitty, little demitasse Grin is okay but I am afflicted by bad mummy syndrome right now, I just can't see how I'm ever going to be good mummy with my crazy hours. I just feel like everyone disapproves (they do, they've said so) and maybe they were right, I will never get these years back. I've spent 2 of them in a hospital and I didn't even take proper maternity leave with him, so I spent the first year and a half in a city office. I hope I can make up for it this summer, but then I have more exams at the end of the summer *eeek (bad mummy award)

cafecito · 28/04/2013 22:20

glad littlekitty is her adorable self, sounds like.. teething... or viral ... Confused see, I'd be an awesome GP!

starsandunicorns · 28/04/2013 22:39

Stressy thing cant but being upset is due to that my lovely brillant clever dd is having a hard hard time at her dads sigh today we refused to pick her up from train station so she had to walk 2 miles in the rain and was talking to her she mentions that shes having to cook her own meals ( veggie) but exh isnt buying her much stuff to cook bit happy to spend money on takeaways on him and his wife

this week shes lived off ceral and pasta ffs he is such a knob and so oringising a tesco delivery for her. Dp reckons she be like a student keeping food in her room ffs dp is cross to

And to top it off hes telling her that they havent said yes to her moving here next yr when she done her gcses and saying all the colleges are shit here. Bless her she hanging in there just for school and finish her exams so she can be here for her A levels

Thankyou feel a little better

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 28/04/2013 22:41

A bit of both, doc. See, you will be an excellent doctor.Grin What are your plans when you graduate? Which specialism do you want to go into?

It must be hard with trying to juggle demitasse and your studies. I can't imagine how hard that must be. So do you essentially get the whole summer off to spend with him like a normal uni student ? If that is the case then hopefully you could manage done semblance of normal routine- day with demitasse, evening with books, night sleeping (see, its so easy on paperHmm ). I'm sure he will have a lovely summer with his mummy. Smile Are you still thinking of France?

starsandunicorns · 28/04/2013 22:43

Last paragraph is about exh not my dp dp is very supporrtive of my little stars

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 28/04/2013 22:47

Sorry star crossed post haha

That must be hard having to hear she is unhappy but not able to do anything. Will she live with you when she does her A levels ? (great that she wants to continue study by the way)

He can't stop her though can he surely? She will be 16 and you are her mum Confused

littlekitty has woken again and went off with another big cry

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 28/04/2013 22:48

Don't worry, I understood Wink

starsandunicorns · 28/04/2013 22:55

Just feel useless yes kitty she wants to be a physiotherperist or a journlist shes gets Bs at the min for her 3 seprate scienses shes in yr 10 As for english and B for everything else. The college in this town is really good and she has a choice of liverpool manchester and salford for uni if she goes down the medical route. She doesnt want to move as she says it will mess her gcses up hoping exh will let her come over for the college open days in sept.

I feel totaly powerless.
