You lot could have told me I went all the way home with my skirt tucked in my knickers!! I think littlekitty, littleharriett & babybear played a trick on me the tinkers!! Grin

StoicButStressed · 27/04/2013 15:23

Oh my GOD WouldBe - jeez, you must have a memory like an elephant! Yes, will get gorgeous DS1's stunning music for allGrin

Obviously NOT the one he played/sang at his Nanny's funeral last month which is guessing what you're remembering though, as prob not appropriate (even though def DOES still make us all smile as was SOOOOO beautiful).

Right, here you go - here's Archie and 'Point of You' (it's one he co-wrote and he kicks in at about 0.30 with mega harmonies and then HUGGGEEEEE finish... which still amazeballs me as he is reed skinny so NO idea where that sound comes from!)

For WouldBe:) Archie's musical contribution to proceedings xxxx

themidwife · 27/04/2013 16:25

Wow Stoic that's fantastic!!! Smile

StoicButStressed · 27/04/2013 17:13

Thank you themidwife

Ok, am pretty certain you haven't heard the other one (the one am pretty certain Would remembered hearing) so am gifting it to you hereSmile

Be warned though, you may need tissues as even though it is SO beautiful and even though it does bring only nice memories, it IS the one recorded (had whole thing filmed/recorded by one of my cameramen VERY discretely at back of church for my SA and Oz relees) as he played and sang it just a few feet away from his utterly beloved Nanny.

My beautiful baby (even if IS 21, is still my baby!) singing to Nanny and posted for Midwife xxx

themidwife · 27/04/2013 20:43

It looks like I can't hear that track without a login Sad

MrsShrek3 · 28/04/2013 01:22

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 28/04/2013 01:25

I'm up with littlekitty, she's got a temp of 38.7 Sad. Poor lamb pie. She's snoozing on my lap but won't settle when I try to put her in her cot. She feels very hot cheeked Sad

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 28/04/2013 01:26

How was your weekend away, Mrs ?Smile

themidwife · 28/04/2013 01:34

Have a safe night Thanks

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 28/04/2013 03:40

Where is everyone? We've still not slept Sad. Well she has but as soon as I put her down she wakes. She just wants to sleep on my lap.

jynier · 28/04/2013 04:01

I'm here; sorry that littlekitty is unwell. Is she still feverish? Poor baby!

jynier · 28/04/2013 04:23

In the old days, we used to bring down the temperature with tepid sponging. Always worked but then we later heavily relied on Calpol. Must be so horrible for littlekitty to be in such distress; no wonder she is clinging on to you!

My children often had very high temperatures (all connected to teething) which led to one of them having a febrile convulsion. If you are really worried, you must ring NHS Direct

MrsShrek3 · 28/04/2013 04:47

poor littlekitty. how is she doing now? really hope you all get some sleep. Have also done the thing where you give up and sleep with child lying on top of you.... only way to get some zzzs sometimes.

MrsShrek3 · 28/04/2013 04:55

how ya doin, jynier?

MrsShrek3 · 28/04/2013 05:13

deserted by a bunch of insomniacs Hmm Grin
hope you're all sleeping. (but would much prefer that you were here having another insane virtual party with me)Grin

My DDs went through a phase like that at around 2. Constantly ill. They improved by the time they were 3 & their immune system was in full working order!

DD2 had a febrile convulsion due to fever when she had tonsillitis when she was 2 1/2 & was transferred in to hosp - 3pm playing at a BBQ happily. 530pm fitting! They change so fast!!
It was terrifying!!

Minimammoth · 28/04/2013 20:32

I have returned. Here mrs I have saved you a balloon and a bun.
Convulsions do sound terrifying. Glad mine never had them.
We think the Fluffcat may have been attacked while we were away overnight, she has a lump of fur missing and is limping even more and shaking. Got to ring vet tomorrow.

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 28/04/2013 20:41

Hi thank you all for your kind wishes and supportive shared experiences. You are a bunch of lovelies aren't you? Smile Thanks

Harriet and bear yes, I feel she's just got over something not long ago. She's such a brave littlekitty too. Bear for all three of our little babbins

Mrs how's your floor-sleeping beauty? Smile

I eventually took her into our bed at 4 and she finally slept till 8 then my husband took her and I slept on and off till 10. She would only sleep on me today and woke 3 times when I tried to put her down in her cot. Hoping for a better night. She's been fine today, cheerful, eating well, temp down, doing impressions of Mr snuffluphagus Grin but she was like that yesterday too and we had an awful night. In between being fine and entertaining though she's also been even more of a boob monster than usual and very mama-clingy. I'll try to take her into my bed earlier tonight if possible. The problem was that as soon as I tried to move at all she woke and cried Sad. She just wants to be on Mama's lap.

jynier and themidwife I'm particularly worried about febrile convulsions. She hates having her temp taken and gets so upset which just makes her hotter Sad . I can't leave her window open to cool her room down because the neighbours smoke directly underneathAngry They are lovely but don't seem to understand the significance of it being a nursery window.

How are you lot? I've felt sick as a dog since about 4ish, not pregnancy related but to do with being a little unwell and exhausted too.

She's sparko on me as I type and has been for about 10 mins. Hopefully I'll have a successful cot put-down.
