starsandunicorns · 23/04/2013 07:44

Thankyou kitty it would help if they had the full address on but no, may need the use of my physic hills today Grin

Minimammoth · 23/04/2013 08:00

stars I have always found hovers to be flighty. Have a good payday. Nice sunny day to be playing out with little bears and kittys. Am having an office day today, I will wrestle with VAT, filing and dream of stationery, might have a minute with the Viking catalogueGrin

Minimammoth · 23/04/2013 08:00

Hoovers are flighty.

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 23/04/2013 08:15

hovercrafts are flighty Grin

Minimammoth · 23/04/2013 08:20

But could they cope with Tim and Trevor? Hmm hm.?

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 23/04/2013 08:21

Well, could anything? That's the question Grin

Enjoy your Viking catalogue Wink

AnAirOfHope · 23/04/2013 09:32

Vikings? I love Eric off true blood but as for Hiccup no thanks and dragons are soooo not real!

Off to build a smart trike then take ds to school what joy......

AnAirOfHope · 23/04/2013 09:32

AF rocks Grin

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 23/04/2013 09:48

I understood none of hour first paragraph, air Confused

Good luck with trike Grin

Minimammoth · 23/04/2013 09:59

I guess Air does not know the fascination of the Viking catalogue, in all it's stationery glory.

AnAirOfHope · 23/04/2013 10:15

True blood is a tv show and hiccup is from a disney dvd how to train your dragon. I was trying to be funny - epic fail Blush

Im missing a clip on the trike but i dont think i will need it so im having a coffee then off to build it.

How do you cope on no sleep? I have a 17 month old bf girl that feeds few times at night and depression so i dont sleep when everyone else is asleep.

Minimammoth · 23/04/2013 10:33

air not epic fail just thread full of uncool, sleep deprived people who have no memory < old gimmer emoticon>
Good luck with the trike< impressed by techno skills>

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 23/04/2013 10:59

Or no telly, like in my house Grin. It's our fail not yours Smile

I'm still feeding my 17month daughter too, hence why I post in jubilation when she sleeps through. I'm also pregnant again so double tired whammy.

I'm so sorry about your depression. Do join us if you are up at night.

themidwife · 23/04/2013 21:57

Don't worry Air - I'm completely confused most of the time!!

MrsShrek3 · 23/04/2013 22:15

stars, pmsl @ Harriet. Shock at all this talk of Hiccup, there will be Viking Hills next Grin

why don't I sleep? well if I knew that....Wink Wink I'd be asleep lol

DH in waiting for parcel post tomorrow. He'll sign for the minikitty and babybear. Dd also nocturnal atm Hmm so we will have a right old party together Grin

Footyboyshrek did well again tonight. He saved 20 goals that I counted and the opposition were the top team in the league. He wanted to "nil 'em" - they didn't manage it but he certainly stopped his team being battered Grin (can I have a night off footy tomorrow please?!) Yet more muddy kit to watch, my ds is a mud magnet.

Shock at surgeon in our midstWink

MrsShrek3 · 23/04/2013 22:17

thats the best typo so far. I will watch the dirty footy kit instead of wash it. far easier Grin

themidwife · 23/04/2013 22:20

Yes best to just watch it Mrs - it'll only get muddy all over again anyway!!

If Cafe cuts it open I can sew it up! Wink

starsandunicorns · 23/04/2013 22:47

Eveing all

payslips arrived Grin but very busy so was happy at work going into the postal zone for me its rexlaing and almost zen like.

Oh well done footyballshrek yy to watching footy kit this that the same as watching the clean mountain of clean clothers that dp said he would sort out 2 weekends ago.

On monday i did come home and the sofa was full clothes piled up socks were even paired up!! Though he got bored and so the mountain is now a very big hill i was going to sort it today but the pesky velrco on the sofa got me Grin

Mini hope you day with filing and vat was good

How was your day kitty with little kitty

jynier · 23/04/2013 22:51

Hi, guys! Went to Salty Town today; now have a Prawn Ring from Iceland in the freezer for Friday night's party! Will make some cheese straws (from scratch) and non-alcoholic punch for Kitty!

Any thoughts on the music?

cafecito · 24/04/2013 00:59

I have the most abominable taste in music

kitty - I enjoyed forget the surgery let's talk about brogues! this is much more soothing to my uberstressed incompetent brain. I think the thing about medicine is that it always makes you feel stupid and inept [sigh]

was meant to be in today for paediatric surgery Confused like, little 6 hour old babies with hernias and things Shock I failed epically after my bus crashed - then I got a train, had to change trains, and then there was a fire on the line, and all trains had stopped, and I thought- er, no.. give up.. I didn't want something else to go wrong so I got someone to cover for me, and make a toddler-related excuse..!

So - back to brogues - how on earth do I wear them? Can I wear them in the hospital (this was original purpose of them) do I wear them with trousers or with floaty skirts? I used to wear vintage things but now I'm rather more classic boring boring boring Smile kitty me up!

cafecito · 24/04/2013 01:03

themidwife, I haven't ever had to stitch anything yet [phew] I genuinely wasn't expecting to have to do anything. Normally I just have to stand there and be asked really hard questions by a consultant and made to feel really tiny and stupid - it's called 'pimping' it's quite an artform Smile

when are you next on call? I have a friend starting access to midwifery this year - any words of advice for her? I am guessing it's really more of a calling and I'm not sure for her it is, as she's still in the undecided camp

cafecito · 24/04/2013 01:04

jynier- can we have piñatas in the corner please? are we hosting the party? can there be vats of rum on the way in and some kind of fancy dress Disney meets eyes wide shut theme?
