Poor littlekitty had an unexpected nighttime poo last night, only the second ever in her littlekitty life and it was a very traumatic cleanup. The poor little babu has a sore botty today for the first time ever, probably as a consequence of lying in it for a while before she realised and told me. She's never had such a botty before.

On the plus side we had a sleepy bumble bee in our garden today so she was able to get up close to a buzzing fuzzy britches . Lovely. Also she learned about sycamore helicopters Endless, first experience fun. Golden.

Just got in. Was vomited on by a cute baby today, then promptly had other things spurt all over me when inserting an abdo drain. Oh my poor white shirt.

Speaking of which, DS bing bullied in nursery a little boy keeps hurting him and the staff are being useless, he comes back sobbing. Grr.

Off to see if there's anything except tickets in my fridge. Doubtful.

Oh no cafe that's terrible . Poor demitasse (see what I did there?) I'm terrified of the thought of this. So what options do you have if the staff are dealing with it? Have you spoken to the manager?

Thanks for the botty cream tip. Luckily it has eased over the day. It was such a shame because she always has such a perfect, peachy cream peach. I think because I've never used wipes on her and I use cloth nappies. I wash her botty with warm chamomile tea and tea tree oil Yummy botty

the staff say he's being emotional - but he quite clearly is being injured. they're obvs prejudiced by 'single parent family, mother oft absent, child shifted about' type of scenario

I've found a new nursery, near me, but can't start until September. I'll pull him out of where he is in July and have a few months just of DS time

Oh yes a swoon for filing wont be doing much but luvs filing in my last admin i got giddy cos i was given the task to find missing files for a audit
Dream jobs were filing clerk or post room

Today cleared out the desk drawers boak at the used nail files and sweet wrappers but found loads of sellotape staples staplters datestamp inks rulers evelope openers penicls pens of all greed etc and a loads i mean loads of pens biros perm marker white board markers all pens were checked for suitabitly and ink levels

Was reeling from the shock of 2 dear friends dying on 2 consecutive days; my darling neighbour, Lily (have mentioned her before upthread), has taken me under her wing and has been so very, very kind!

Have had individual messages from the husband and son of my great socialist reformer friend saying that she knew the risks of her cardiac op but she wanted us all to know (just in case) that she had had a wonderful and enjoyable life and she didn't want anyone to mourn. She also embraced modern technology so asked her family to make sure that we could join in a "virtual" funeral service which will take place at the end of next week.

Not bad for someone who has been wheelchair-bound for over 20 years yet still campaigned vigorously for the less fortunate worldwide! Am really proud of her!

cafe - You must kick up a fuss at the nursery; don't let your DS be bullied. For the record, my DD2 and her H were congratulated for being a married couple when GS was born - staff said it was so unusual. Don't think, therefore, that it is a "single mother" issue!
