i slept terribly. have the absolute horn & one of those creeping-dreads that everything is about to go tits up. no way will i be dashing past namelesses at lunchtime, far too busy at work; if all is well i wouldnt be able to leave & if it isnt (& there isnt any concrete reason why it shouldnt be, i just feel uneasy) then it can wait until after work...

Mr Nice appears to have got to the airport safely. I think they may be rather too early for their flight given that they have no luggage to check in and the flight doesn't leave until 9:15 (they've been there for a little while). I need to focus on not thinking about missing him

I am starting a big project at work today. Unfortunately I feel awful, on the verge of being sick, stomach cramps etc. And I absolutely can't call in and say I'm ill. Am going to be late anyway which is bad enough. Ugh.

Flipper your time off sounds lovely. I think this is some sort of stomach upset, hoping it won't turn into a full blown bug. Just ran for the bus, which was probably a mistake. Now breathing deeply, and telling myself I feel fine. If I can struggle through til lunch, I can probably just about leave and go home then. Deep breaths.
