Ooh yums. I made chocolate fondant for my husband when I was pregnant but couldn't eat it because of the raw-ish egg. Must make it again so I can gromph away too this time Grin

bluey when might you bankrupt the restaurant? Grin Am I right in thinking you are nearing the end of your chemo sessions? What sort of food are you thinking, or are you not able to fantasize over food just yet? Sorry if I've been crass.

My lambkin slept till nearly 6 and has gone off again so I might get a second snooze now.

Glad to see most of us slept. Sorry for those who didn't.

I miss Dr cafe Sad

MrsShrek3 · 21/03/2013 07:14

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 21/03/2013 07:17

oops trigger happy

Hi Mrs How's MrMrsShrek? Smile

MrsShrek3 · 21/03/2013 07:31

he's knackered but ok ta. trying to shift his chemobrain enough to do his job properly. the phased return (to work) was a complete joke and he did three ten hour late shifts in a row with no days off between, so not really what we'd thought the first week back should be like Hmm ditto his second week. sigh. ds1 (asd) has derailed this week as we predicted due to DH not being at home - ds1 liked that! sigh.
hope you all have a good day, I'm off to work Smile

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 21/03/2013 07:53

God what shitty support you've had from your husband's work. Sorry to hear that. Also about your son's derailment Sad

Have a good day at work Smile

Minimammoth · 21/03/2013 08:19

A quick good morning. Did wake in the night but resisted the temptation to engage in MN. That looks like a hard week Mrs Shrek for someone who is still in treatment. My DH is struggling, had an op on his arm before Christmas and its just not working properly and causing him a lot of pain, surgeon offers no real solution. Pain is so draining. He is def like, well, er Shrek. Grin
Been itchy lump free for a couple of days, but carefully watching what I eat.
Have a good day everyone.

MrsShrek3 · 21/03/2013 21:43

thanks kitty Smile how was your day?
mini, your poor DH (but I had to snigger when you said shrek Wink )
ds1 still being a tit Hmm

it's not even Friday... Anyone joining me for a Wine ?

MrsShrek3 · 21/03/2013 21:48

mini, you'd better have a glass of antihistamine instead Wink

Minimammoth · 21/03/2013 22:19

Yes it would make a good cocktail, we'll have to think up a name.'lump zapper' or something.why is ds being a tit?my DH has been doing something on a roof so is in even more pain, standing in for a 19 yr old. Daft bugger.

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 21/03/2013 22:22

Hi Mrs Smile My little bumblina is unwell; snotty, high temp, crying ( very out of character). I've been trying to settle her for the last 3 hrs without success.

I heard her through the monitor earlier so I went in and found her standing in her cot in the dark whimpering softlySad

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 21/03/2013 22:23

Had been feeling rather low this week dd1s birthday is today 18 sadly i wont be able to say the things you say to her. But on a lighter note dd2 has been told shes def will be taking her GCSE IT exam in june a year early only 2 others will be taking with her.

Plus as work is dire from angency and been told to stop calling every day to ask for ask I applied for a part time three week contract with another company.

I start Monday only 4 hours a day mon- fri and it will take me nearly a hour to get there in the mornings but its better than nothing and will come out with 50 pounds a week once petrol and tax as been taken out but i still try to keep the other job even if doing one day/ night a week. I can still do the 5-10 shift and nightshift i be taking in copus amount of coffee

I'm up, SD, but feeling so miserable that I am not fit company! Shouldn't be like this as I have seen my wonderful GC today - drown in my love for them!!! My brother's anniversary is coming up very soon and (not sure if this is normal) keep thinking that he was ALIVE on this date 2 years ago; why isn't he here now?

jynier · 22/03/2013 03:29
