Had no intention of coming on the thread tonight but have had a post on FB from a friend in US about a site "New Daily Patriot" which had a headline about asylum seekers/refugees/ illegal immigrants sponging off the UK.

I don't know how to share a link to NDP but think that the facts may be wrong!

SummerDad · 21/03/2013 00:54

Hi jynier, I hope you are ok tonight. If you don't mind me asking why would you like to share it here if you think that the facts may be wrong?

All you have to do is to select the link in the address bar of the internet browser you are using. This will highlight the text in the address bar. Right click while the text being highlighted in the address bar and select copy. Then, right click in the message box where you are writing your message, right click and select paste. This will do the job.

SummerDad · 21/03/2013 00:55

or simply write the exact title of the article with the website name, and someone on the thread will find it and post the link for you.

jynier · 21/03/2013 01:03

I was concerned because the post shared by my friend (someone whom I have known for over 50 years) was completely racist and hostile. Told him what I thought of him! Probably an ex-friend now!!! Thanks for the info, SD!

Midwife99 · 21/03/2013 06:30

Looks like we all slept last night!! Where's Cafe?

BlueyDragon · 21/03/2013 06:36

I slept but was up early to MN in peace. I'm so jealous of your dinner, Midwife, I'm looking forward to a massive restaurant pig out with DH when chemo is done. This will of course be at war with my desire to lose the weight I've put on with all the drugs and sitting around, but somehow I shall manage to stuff my face, particularly with chocolate desserts.

Midwife99 · 21/03/2013 06:44

Oh yes Bluey - that will be something to look forward to!! My friend has recovered from breast cancer & one of the hardest things for her during treatment was the weight gain due to steroids. She did really well & is now enjoying lots of meals out & weekends away with her lovely DH. Grin

MrsShrek3 · 21/03/2013 07:11

good on us if everyone got some sleep. I watched rubbish on tv til 2 then slept til 6 which passes as a good night's kip Grin Hope you all got time nice zzzs too.
