Oh, I am really overwhelmed by how lovely everyone on here has been today. Honestly, it means such a lot, even though I don't deserve any of it.

Thank you.

I love this thread

I deleted my POF account and send a couple of people that I'd had exchanged a few messages with my email address as a last message. One has emailed me today, which I thought was quite nice.

I know of very few relationships that I would actually be envious of. Most of the ones that look great from the outside tournament out to have major flaws when you look closer.

Have fun on date 7, Snape.

Movingforward123 · 08/03/2013 17:06

Lulu - he did seem quite interested so that's why it seems odd!

I'm not sure how I feel about calling him. How about If I text him instead?

And say something like. Is everything ok with you? You have been very quiet recently!

mercury7 · 08/03/2013 17:10

'outside tournament'
ha ha was that a freudian slip flipper...most of my relationship were actually tournaments

I can think of long & happy marriages where the two people seem very compatible, but thats them, I'm a loner with misanthropic leanings and tend not to thrive in relationships

Movingforward123 · 08/03/2013 17:13

Western - that is a very grown up approach, but I don't want to feel like I'm chasing after him by calling him! As we don't normally speak on the phone a lot!

Scrazy - I'm ok but just feel abit upset that has gone all quiet Hmm

MirandaWest · 08/03/2013 17:18

How do you do small (yet perfect) boobs?

Possibly just oo Grin

I'm doing a bra mystery shop next week. This is good :)

lulubellaboozle · 08/03/2013 17:27

moving, the problem with a text is that they can be ignored, or you get a non commital, yeah I'm fine, reply which tells you nothing.

I would phone and you can get more a sense of if anything is wrong or not, phone and invite him over, you'll soon know!

48howdidthathappen · 08/03/2013 17:53

I hope the shop opening goes well OWW A bottle of bubbly is a lovely gesture.

Have a fab date 7 snape

I am seeing Mr R&R Grin

Movingforward123 · 08/03/2013 18:01

Lulu - as my ankle is sprained I am staying at my mums and can't invite him over here! And I'm on crutches do cant walk Shock

JulietteMontague · 08/03/2013 18:12

Western you do deserve good things all right, your caring really shines through on here so maybe you are just getting some back.

Snape have a wonderful evening.

Bant top tip, use the Worzel lines on the locals. They are known to love them.

Poppy no way is the sex thing related to not finding you attractive. I'm sorry though, it does sound to me that he wants you on call, was put out by the idea that you have your own life (did he had a wife installed until relatively recently?) and own sexual appetite and is now backtracking. The ball is in your court now to decide if what he is offering is good enough for you, no rush. I also would think twice about agreeing to go and stay next week and would take a step back whilst you think about it all.

Voice yep, Shakey does it for me. Keep going Grin

Moving I would also phone him. You know him well enough to ask straight out.

Ike being single can be lonely and miserable, at the moment I wouldn't swop that for being in a relationship and miserable.

Movingforward123 · 08/03/2013 18:35

I don't really feel like I know him well enough to call him! And I also dont feel like I would be able to tell much by his tone of voice either really

lulubellaboozle · 08/03/2013 18:41

Moving in which case try a text, would I be right in assuming that if you are at your mum's then you have a babysitter Smile? Why not text and suggest he takes you out? Or of that is too much then just a hello, how are you? You've been quiet? but often to get a proper answer you have to ask a direct question! Good luck

JulietteMontague · 08/03/2013 18:52

Moving what Lulu said. You know him, he's been to your house a lot and you've had sex. Going out is a good idea.

ChooChooLaverne · 08/03/2013 18:53

I'm another one who worries if I don't hear from someone. I've met my lovely man twice in the last couple of weeks and he's emailed me every day for the last three weeks. Normally if I contact him I get a reply several hours later. Only I sent him a message yesterday about meeting up again and haven't had a reply yet and think I may have spooked him.

Velvet - I don't know how you can bear it!

EternalRose · 08/03/2013 18:56

I can also get a bit twitchy if someone disappears off the radar. But I never feel like that when the communication prior to that was completely open and honest.

And yes Voice keep talking....Wink

VelvetSpoon · 08/03/2013 19:11

I don't mind a bit of Shakespeare. But poetry is my thing, especially Donne (which I studied for A level). The Good Morrow has my favourite ever line in a poem

'If ever any beauty I did see, Which I desir'd, and got, 'twas but a dreame of thee'

Or as I remember us interpreting it in 6th form 'all my Exs were nowhere near as fit as you' Grin
