My mojo has stropped off....no ...pleased for you lovely!

ike1 · 20/12/2012 18:31

Managed to shove the tree up tonight with the kids. Its on the wonk...but that's about right...

SevenSnapespearesSwimming · 20/12/2012 18:40

48 yay! That's great! :)

VelvetSpoon · 20/12/2012 19:00

Snape good luck for the appeal- when do you get to hear the result?

Yoga sympathies re DD, it's no excuse for her behaviour but I imagine her hormones are raging. It will get better...another 6 years or so and she'll be fine :)

I was a horror as a teen (not in terms of going out etc, but at home arguing, breaking stuff, I still have a terrible temper and it was awful when I was younger). I am getting most of it back now through DS1...am hoping DS2 (who hasnt inherited my temperament) will give me an easier time.

Hoping I might hear from Cuthbert later as is his work Xmas party so he will be pissed slightly tipsy. In the meantime, the obviously only after sex bloke is still texting me. Would be nice to hear from Cuthbert even half as much!

OhLittleTownofWesternWind · 20/12/2012 19:11

48!!! Wonderful news. What's been going on?

SevenSnapespearesSwimming · 20/12/2012 19:34

velvet probably week starting 2nd January. If I win this I'll get around £2500 in arrears. I will need to pay the things I haven't been able to pay for a bit, but I might be able to clear some debt as well... If I don't, I need to revisit plan B of marrying a footballer.

48howdidthathappen · 20/12/2012 19:51

OWW stayed over with Mr R&R last night. Our 2nd night together.

All I can say is who ever taught him. I could kiss her Grin

BantaBaby · 20/12/2012 20:01

48 you may not want to suggest that to him this early on :)

48howdidthathappen · 20/12/2012 20:04

Too late Bantababy Grin

Yogagirl17 · 20/12/2012 20:56

Spoon I was a bit of a horror at that age too but never quite as bad as this. We'll be lucky to both make it another 6 years. Please tell me boys are at least a little easier????

And Woo Hoo for Rock & Roll!

JulietteMontague · 20/12/2012 21:07

yoga boys are allegedly better despite me wondering all day when it's ever going to stop although there are still challenges.

MsArsebiscuit · 20/12/2012 21:25

My contribution from the battlefront is that it depends on the individual - ds2 ( 15) delightful baby and toddler and occasionally slightly stroppy teenager, dd (13) generally lovely, if verbose toddler and child, now intermittent moodiness, demands to have piercings/orange face/hooker clothing/bizarre eyebrows, no actual violence but frequent door slammings, ds1 (17) demanding, difficult, stroppy from the moment he was born, tantrumming, fighty, constantly hungry because ' there is LITERALLY nothing to eat' in the house, occasionally nice to me, presumably in an effort to keep me on my toes.

48howdidthathappen · 20/12/2012 21:28

My son is 23. Went to hell and back with him between 14 and 19. Then almost over night the person I knew was still inside returned. Smile

My daughter is 17. Born stroppy! Had to keep her on a tight rein or she would of eaten me for breakfast. Outside of home. No problems. Recently I have started to believe she is human after all Smile

48howdidthathappen · 20/12/2012 21:32

She has even bought and put thought into christmas presents for me Shock

Yogagirl17 · 20/12/2012 21:52

48 My DD sounds a bit like yours only younger - born stroppy, great outside the home but would eat me for breakfast if I let her!

mercury7 · 20/12/2012 22:07

mine weren't too bad..even better they've both left home now..bliss:) :)

KirstyWirsty · 20/12/2012 22:17

My DD is 7 and always has had a mind if her own .. I've got all of this to look forward to!! Hmm

48howdidthathappen · 20/12/2012 22:22

I take my hat off to all of you with younger chidren that are or have got of the sofa.

Respect! Smile

MirandaWest · 20/12/2012 22:31

Mine are still OK at 9 and 7 although tbh DS (the 9 year old) has got generally nicer recently thinking about it.

I will obviously eat my words soon and both children will suddenly show their true colours Grin

MirandaWest · 20/12/2012 22:33

Is it wrong that part of me is disappointed that I had to turn down Mr Nice's offer of definitely Coffee tomorrow morning as he is going to have a house empty of teenager who will be at school. Is school Christmas Church services which I love going to (and singing loudly Grin). Am going round to see him after that but he has a water meter man coming between 12 and 4 and quite possibly a teenager returning as well....

48howdidthathappen · 20/12/2012 22:48

Hmmm. Engaging or singing. Tough choice Wink

cafecito · 20/12/2012 23:25

I have had a festive epiphany. I am a bit grumpy, because of mraloof. He obviously wants something very casual as in, on his terms, only, and though we saw more of each other at one point it obviously was too relationship-y for him so he vanished on me for weeks. So now I see him once a week and there's been no coffee or Coffee for a couple months I'd say (though there was interrupted coffee maybe a week and a half ago and he ran off home) - so I was happy because I am also very workcentric and antisocial. but I've realised, actually, it might be nice to have a relationship with mr aloof (though I guess not with him because he does not seem to want one) sigh.

sorry, as you were

BantaBaby · 21/12/2012 00:05

hey all

well the world is supposed to end today, so good luck to all with dating and stuff.
