Have just noticed that dh has set up a camera and has been videoing our room. I think it is to see whether I have a nap. Apparently I do nothing all day. I have 3 DC so am literally running round all day. Am I wrong to think this weird and also very creepy?

Not that it makes it in any way ok but...do you think he suspects you of getting drunk in the day and that's what the web cam is about?

I'm just trying to get my head round it Confused

crystaldash · 14/08/2012 17:35

Am at home. He is staying late at work because I am a bad wife and didn't pack his lunch.

Assuming that he has assaulted you, you must see that you need to leave him. Your lovely children should not live with a man who assaults their mother, spys on her to make sure she doesn't rest, and removes her/their means of communicating with the outside world in emergencies. It is a very emotionally damaging environment for them to grow up in.

I'm sure there is more you could say too? I doubt very much it is the first time he has hit you. I suspect he is controlling of the children too?

WorraLiberty · 14/08/2012 17:37

He's hidden your phone and took a lead out of the landline but left you with internet connection?

Does he have MH issues at all?

crystaldash · 14/08/2012 17:37

If that was the case the bedroom would be the last place to.film. and no I only get drunk when there is someone else in the house.

Speak to the police if you can, to get your injury documented. You may that evidence at a future date.

Is there is anyone that you could start leaving a few essentials with - birth certs, passports, a few cloths, bank details, copies of his wage slips etc, sentimental stuff that you would like to keep? It would make leaving easier and quicker, and would be helpful if you need to get out quickly.

NameChangeGalore · 14/08/2012 17:39

hmm.

StealthPolarBear · 14/08/2012 17:41

Can I hear something dripping?

OneOfMyTurnsComingOn · 14/08/2012 17:42

Is this real?

jumpingjackhash · 14/08/2012 17:43

So you have a black eye, he's taken your phone and 'punishes' you? And you only opened with the webcam?

Where to start...

Alliwantisaroomsomewhere · 14/08/2012 17:43

Yip. Drip.

I feel really bad for you if you are being honest. It's just started to get a bit unbelievable.

TheHeirOfSlytherin · 14/08/2012 17:46

Why couldn't you see his behaviour was unacceptable until we told you?
