How many men / women have you slept with?

Assuming you can remember that is.

Today for the first time ever I counted and it is 14 / 0*.

I am 35. This is just under 1 a year since I became sexually active (started late...4th term at uni). I'm not counting youthful messing about, I mean full sex.

This doesn't seem so many to me and obv its going to depend when you became monogamous anyway. But, I have seen articles that suggest a much lower figure, eg 7 for men 4 for women.

Am I a bit of a slapper (which I would be fine with, I enjoyed it) or are all these people just lying? I think the latter, because judging by who I have spoken to 14 is much more typical than 4.

And I should add that my first was a seven year relationship and my second is my current relationship, which has been going strong for three and a half years :)

I'm 44.

I've been in three long term relationships of 4, 7 and 7 years.

I've had 8 lovers.

I thought that was fairly modest, considering 3 of them were long longtermers and one of them I've been seeing a year. So really, half were longtermers.

I'm currently having the best sex of my life, so as far as I'm concerned, I don't ever want anyone different ever again and am very content with my tally.

About 20/0 age 42. . I halved it to tell my ex a number when he asked and he was shocked at so many, although his was way too many to count. I would probably like more casual sex in the future but they all turn into stalkers.
