Here we go again....

OP posts:

Pfft. I'm not about to shag a 21 year old. I'd break him, he'd be ruined for all other women for the rest of his life. :)

hatesponge · 15/07/2012 18:02

Am back from my date with Mr Funny.

Twas not good.

Nice bloke, made me laugh. But honestly I could not have fancied him less.

Sadly the feeling wasn't mutual, and he has been texting me stuff about how much he fancied me. The latest text was how next time he wants to go for breakfast with me then take me to bed for the afternoon Hmm

I am literally at my cringe limit. I now need to find a polite way of putting him off.

Sigh.

Lueji · 15/07/2012 18:05

Searching for dating sites, for Roach, I came across this one:
Senior Dating Agency
It's for the over 40s!

I have never been so insulted in my life, to be called Senior at 40!!!

Really!

Lueji · 15/07/2012 18:06

Ask him to marry you, Sponge? Wink

Lueji · 15/07/2012 18:07

Although, you may not need to be polite.
He clearly just wants to shag you.

mercury7 · 15/07/2012 18:11

Sponge, did he actually ask if you were up for getting together again, or did he just assume and then launch into smutty text mode?

hatesponge · 15/07/2012 18:20

Mercury he just assumed!

I am not sure why - we had a pleasant afternoon, but just general chat. When we parted he kissed my cheek and we both said something along the lines of it had been nice to meet the other, as you would.

Then he text and said how lovely I looked & wished he had more time with me, and it went from there. I replied to the first couple of texts but only in the sense of to thank him for compliment etc. I was trying to be non-commital but not ignore him entirely.

Yet he now seems to think he's odds-on for a shag Hmm

mercury7 · 15/07/2012 18:24

I remember a little while ago meeting a bloke who decided (with without consulting me) that we 'really clicked' and then just seemed to assume that I wanted to see him again.

I just didnt fancy him, had to be quite blunt, he got a bit whiney, complained that it wasnt fair
iirc he said he felt as if he'd won a prize and then had it taken away
Confused
wtf

I guess he thought that because I agree'd to meet him he was somehow on a promise

snapespeare · 15/07/2012 18:30

Sponge, just cut him off. Tell him that while he is a lovely guy, you didn't feel a spark and don't see any point in pursuing any relationship, you hope he finds someone more suited to him. Done.

ChaoticismyLife · 15/07/2012 19:05

I see I'm the only one left on the sofa now :)

sponge what Snape said

Roark "I'm north London-based, 33, very liberal and a tad geeky, and looking for something hopefully long-term, serious with someone similar of the opposite sex"

Tell us more Wink

I've just read back through the thread, some interesting developments happening.

snapespeare · 15/07/2012 19:32

Had to block the 21 year old. ' I want to pin your thighs back & drive my tongue into your soaking wet pussy'

Er.... No. Thanks.

Hmm.

hatesponge · 15/07/2012 19:46

Ewww Snape thats grim. Justifiably blocked.

So I didnt reply to the breakfast text. I thought/hoped he might go away. But no. Now he's asked me to send him a photo...

I have to send the 'I'm sorry but there was no spark' text don't I?

Why do I feel bad? Confused

snapespeare · 15/07/2012 19:56

Don't feel bad! The alternative is either stringing him along, or getting sucked in on the basis that he might be a grower...and then shagging him out of desperation and feeling like shit. Just send the text. Makes sense. :).

My 'soaking wet pussy' has reverted to its prior cobweb enhanced state. :).

snapespeare · 15/07/2012 19:58

He only wants a photo to wank over. ' :) '

ChaoticismyLife · 15/07/2012 20:02

Bite the bullet sponge and send the text. It's the best thing to do.

CharlieUniformNovemberTango · 15/07/2012 20:17

So, is " counter surveillance expert for private security firm, mostly with foreign diplomats " a load of bull?

I don't even know what that is! But that's all he can tell me. He can't say exactly what or who for and it all just seems a bit poor James bond movie or something :)

Still I'm meeting him on Saturday. I guess I could grill him on the exits in the room ala Jason Bourne :o

CharlieUniformNovemberTango · 15/07/2012 20:24

sponge you should send him a picture of a sad puppy with "sorry" on or something!

snapespeare · 15/07/2012 20:26

snort at puppy charlie.

Yes, bullshit. You should turn up painted gold or in black with a headscarf & sunglasses...

CharlieUniformNovemberTango · 15/07/2012 20:31

I could ask him about the seeing he flying fox at midnight and slide an empty envelope over the table or something!

SerendipitousHarlot · 15/07/2012 20:45

Isn't that the same bullshitter that MLM pulled??

CharlieUniformNovemberTango · 15/07/2012 20:46

I don't know. Where abouts are you MLM?

God that would be hilarious!

I

Lueji · 15/07/2012 20:47

Charlie,
Counter surveillance etc people usually claim to have boring jobs like IT and accountancy, don't they?

CharlieUniformNovemberTango · 15/07/2012 20:58

I have no idea Lueji.

I've never heard of it before. I'm feeling very skeptical about it. He has talked of coming home for the weekend and catching a flight somewhere.

Yes, I should imagine if it was big diplomats he'd keep quiet about it completely.

Was his name Mick MLM?

ChaoticismyLife · 15/07/2012 20:59

Charlie link that MLM provided here

CharlieUniformNovemberTango · 15/07/2012 21:19

No that's not him then.

www.pof.com/viewprofile.aspx?profile_id=22578629

That's mine. I'll see how he is about the job on Saturday then :)
