Ta-da! Think this is the first one I've started.

I am still feeling somewhat feisty. Told my team off at work for being too noisy Blush and was generally stroppy. Might have to go and start a row in AIBU or something!

So, dating, as you were etc Grin

Not forgetting of course that I have a second date at the weekend!

OP posts:
watchoutforthatsnail · 12/04/2012 12:30

first - honestly, i would have thought exactly the same too. Lubey suggested it as it had worked well for her in the past.
Then we all gave it a a go - i think time did it first. It was shocking the result and i dont think if i hadnt of done it that i would have believed it myself. truely.
If you read times profile, or any of ours at the time the first thing it clearly stats is that she is not looking for casual sex.
its literally just taking advantage of the increased traffic to your profile, because, if you want to believe it or not, most men do search under that critera.

watchoutforthatsnail · 12/04/2012 12:31

and ive heard from tonights date. hes taken to calling me 'nic nac' which i quite like.

TimeForMeAndDD · 12/04/2012 12:34

I haven't suggested that I'm out for casual sex either first1. As watch says, my profile clearly states what I want and do not want. We were all surprised to find that there are a lot of men out there after the same thing, which is long term with someone special but not wanting to marry or live together. It's as simple as that.

Don't knock it til you've tried it Wink

TimeForMeAndDD · 12/04/2012 12:35

Grin at 'nic nac'. Hope it goes well for you watch and I look forward to the update.

first1 · 12/04/2012 12:37

Oh I'm definitely not knocking it, as I said each to their own! And I won't be trying it coz I've already nabbed my bloke. I'm just here coz I'm nosey and love hearing dating stories Confused

watchoutforthatsnail · 12/04/2012 12:40

yeah, i dont think id ever want to live with someone ever again, or get married. but im not adverse to someone special being about, just not in my space all the time...
keep us updated time :)

and yeah, ill update, meeting at 7:30, pub as yet unknown... This is the one where he used to live in my house. he asked what area i was in, and i said, and he said that he used to live near there and then said he lived at number blah blah, something road. Which is my actual house. that i live in. I just said ' yeah, i think i know where that is..' while laughing hysterically.
i think he was the one that put down my decking - the neighbours had told me about him, and that he was a nice chap ( they told me this ages ago - conversation over the garden fence) So, i know this, he doesnt. Depending on how it goes should i mention it? because it is kind of funny.

MyLittleMiracle · 12/04/2012 12:45

All ready waiting to know when my date finishes work but not holding out any hope to be honest now. Oh well had another couple of better, more attractive meaningful offers.

kmdwestyorks · 12/04/2012 12:46

MissK- tell him you take your safety seriously and are sorry but would prefer not to put yourself or him in a vulnerable position. even if was your suggestion, it's still your safety you're considering.

ChaoticAngel · 12/04/2012 12:46

If you feel comfortable enough with him then I'd mention it.

Time have you got a link so I can have a nosy, that is if they'll let me.

watchoutforthatsnail · 12/04/2012 12:50

bugger, ive been talked into a rum fulled evening with tonights date. he is a bad influence... this isnt going to end well, is it ;)

TimeForMeAndDD · 12/04/2012 12:51

That is exactly what I'm looking for watch Smile There is one guy who keeps coming back, trouble is he lives a long way away from me so it's not really workable. We have lovely chats though....

That's amazing, that he used to live in your house. That could be really funny Grin You have to bring him back for 'coffee' just for the entertainment factor!

Chaotic is it my profile you want a nosey at? HarmonyReigns if so. You can search on POF without being a member.

TimeForMeAndDD · 12/04/2012 12:53

Can anyone decipher this message for me please Grin

watchoutforthatsnail · 12/04/2012 12:53

how far away though? does he drive... would it not be worth meeting, even just once, to see... esp if you might be thinking about a car..

bringing him back for coffee now might be an option after the turn of events.

MyLittleMiracle · 12/04/2012 12:54

Have to agree with time take him back for coffee, but what if he still has a set of keys, he could snesk in and cuddle you ib the night. X

TimeForMeAndDD · 12/04/2012 12:54

watch now have a look at this Baldshavemorefun, this guy is same age as me. Seems nice enough but...

Maybe it's me Confused

watchoutforthatsnail · 12/04/2012 12:55

hahahaha. my god. why, why do people type like that? i know my typing is bad, but its not that bad!

watchoutforthatsnail · 12/04/2012 12:56

time - it doest have a pic?

TimeForMeAndDD · 12/04/2012 12:57

It's a good hour and half away watch. Yes he drives. He's intelligent too. Love all his pics except one, in which he doesn't look as attractive. The same thing happened with my first ever internet date (first of the only two I have had) and he turned out to look just like the ugly pic.

But, I'm thinking I might like to meet this one for coffee, just to see what happens..!

TimeForMeAndDD · 12/04/2012 12:57

Oooh, must be a private pic he has sent then. Bet he is married! Hmm

Well, he is bald, grey and looks at least 57!!

MyLittleMiracle · 12/04/2012 13:00

I would share mine with you, but, well okay, I will find him. My 18 year old but says 22 on profile. V he is adi2012 I mean how could I resist. Lol. And he does actually look Luke that too.

TimeForMeAndDD · 12/04/2012 13:04

Yeah, he's cute MLM from a motherly point of view you understand, seeing as I'm old enough to be his mother Grin

MyLittleMiracle · 12/04/2012 13:07

Not seeing him again. He was a sweetie and good ;-) but too young, says she whose next date is a year older. Hot a message from him last night though.

ChaoticAngel · 12/04/2012 13:07

he turned out to look just like the ugly pic.

GrinGrinI believe that's what they call sods law GrinGrin

Just taken a look at your profile on POF. It's really good, that's the type of profile, articulate and well written, that would attract me, if you were male that is...or I was Wink

lovesineffable · 12/04/2012 13:09

his pidgin english is bad enough watch but what about the user name..does he have 9 genital piercings??
ouch! Confused

I had a text out of the blue from someone I exchanged a few texts with about 6 months ago.
it said:
'how u doin'
not even a question mark.
obviously I ignored it, but wtf?
why even bother, who would respond to something like that
If I wanted to re kindle something with someone I'd at least use their name and think of something to say

I still CBA to put a profile up anywhere Confused

ChaoticAngel · 12/04/2012 13:11

I just searched Baldshavemorefun on pof and it says he's married.

MLM I agree with Time cute, , I just have to remember that I'm also old enough to be his mother. My DS is 19.
