Ta-da! Think this is the first one I've started.

I am still feeling somewhat feisty. Told my team off at work for being too noisy Blush and was generally stroppy. Might have to go and start a row in AIBU or something!

So, dating, as you were etc Grin

Not forgetting of course that I have a second date at the weekend!

TimeForMeAndDD · 16/04/2012 21:23

Grin I met Shrek's uglier brother once. Now that was scary!

ninja · 16/04/2012 21:24

"or you end up falling in love and planning the wedding with this figment of your imagination."

Can I 'Like' that comment Grin yes - I could see that happening to me

ninja · 16/04/2012 21:25

I'm just impatient (and lonely :( )

MissKeithLemon · 16/04/2012 21:30

chaotic that just made me splurt my tea out!! Grin

ninja · 16/04/2012 21:35

Isn't it possible that I'm messaging a good'un?

See he's not messaged back within half an hour and I already think that I've put him off - I'm not cut out for this dating game .....

MyLittleMiracle · 16/04/2012 21:39

For those who don't know me and just friends guy, well he was ny first internet date, he is truly lovely, and though there was no initial spark, well things change. He gives the nest hugs and I an hoping we might turn into more than just friends. We chat daily, texting, loads of kisses at the end. We miss each other, and though he said he hasn't got the time for a relationship and it wouldn't be fair, we still can't wait to see each other and miss each other. When he hugs me I tingle, stupid I know, but there you go. I sound like a love sick teenager. Lol

ninja · 16/04/2012 21:39

aaah :)

MissKeithLemon · 16/04/2012 21:42

I think a bit of texting, a week or so is enough. You can tell if theres absolutely no connection, but not enough to get carried away if there is no chemistry at all when you meet.

I'm still reeling in shock from meeting my mr lovely saturday night/sunday date... tis all very well being a singleton if thats what you want, but me, I know I need someone to share life with.

Time you are so switched on when it comes to what you want that I'm sure you will find the man who suits you soon. Laughed my head off at the no overnighters rule... I'm the opposite, i can't think of anything nicer than waking up all dribbly and horrid and knowing the person beside you still thinks you are fab!

MyLittleMiracle · 16/04/2012 21:42

And if there nice always go for a second meet up. It is so worth it.

MissKeithLemon · 16/04/2012 21:43

MLM - aaaaah, just aaaah!

MissKeithLemon · 16/04/2012 21:45

Ninja - you need skin like a rhino at times I think.

ChickenSkin · 16/04/2012 21:45

Has anyone actually ever been stood up properly? I mean turned up for a date and the other person didn't turn up? how long did you wait and what did you do with youself in the meantime?

I've been thinking about John Prescott a lot today and I'm considering giving it one last go.

ChaoticAngel · 16/04/2012 21:52

MissK my post was inspired by one of Time's posts earlier in the thread Grin

Chicken John Prescott and dating Confused

watchoutforthatsnail · 16/04/2012 22:24

Bugger, ykw text me.

Hand on heart I didnt contact him.

lovesineffable · 16/04/2012 22:26

No never actually stood up, several times I've wanted to do a runner on first sight of the person.

I used to like all that spending the night together stuff (or did I just tolerate it because it seemed expected??)
now it just seems like torture, can never sleep properly and the awful ness of trying to get rid of them as quickly as possible the next morning, having to invent some sort of excuse if they show signs of hanging around Blush

Snapespeare · 16/04/2012 22:27

Bloody ykw!!! Grrrr! How do they know!!?? It's like some horrible psychic ability.

hatesponge · 16/04/2012 22:28

watch have you replied?

OP posts:
TimeForMeAndDD · 16/04/2012 22:29

Ewwww! MrsKL No, to the dribble and pillow face. Just no. No. I also like to be able to poop freely of a morning Blush Grin Once, when first staying over with The Ex, I forgot where I was and I let one rip slip out. I clenched as hard and as fast as I could once I realised I was back to back with another body, but it was too late. He heard it. And he waited to let me know he had heard it until we were sat having a cup of tea with his stunningly gorgeous cousin and his girlfriend!! I never pooped in front of him ever again, and nor shall I any man! You just never know when your wind story is going to come out.

chicken you are consider giving John Prescott one last go or dating? If I had been thinking about John Prescott I would be thinking of starting therapy, not dating Grin

TimeForMeAndDD · 16/04/2012 22:32

watch now is not the time for you to be engaging in contact with YKW. You are not in the right frame of mind. Now, very calmly find the button labelled 'delete' and press it. Then put down the phone and back slowly away. that's a good girl Smile

hatesponge · 16/04/2012 22:33

I've been stood up in my home (if that counts!).

I like sharing my bed, sleeping on my own still seems really odd. I co-slept with DS1 for ages, and a little with DS2, and they always used to creep into our bed in the night when they were younger. I had a much better sleep on Sat night with the Scotsman (albeit only about 3 hours long) than I ever do on my own.

ChickenSkin · 16/04/2012 22:33

I started a thread about my current fixation with Mr Prescott earlier and a lovely mumsnetter left this link which has made me even more hot for him. Guys like him never seem to be on POF though :(

TimeForMeAndDD · 16/04/2012 22:37

Oh my word. You need help, love.

Grin
ChaoticAngel · 16/04/2012 22:41

Some links should never be opened.

TimeForMeAndDD · 16/04/2012 22:43

It killed the thread! Grin
