Hello :)

I've decided that blog or no blog, I can't imagine not having all of you fabulous people to turn to in the next couple of months while I count down to baby arriving. So I've jumped ship from the old thread and decided to set up camp here.

would anyone like a Brew?

DoingItForMyself · 03/07/2012 16:01

who else is a bit envious of Choco today even though they have more than enough DCs already ?

blackcurrants · 03/07/2012 16:45

:) I keep thinking "What time is it over there?" and "I wonder if they're all settled into the bed, now, all snuggled up..."
So yeah, definitely a bit jealous of Choco today. Well, not the abdominal surgery part. But the new baby part!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Baby Bean! :)

Midwife99 · 03/07/2012 16:49

Oh yes Bean definitely been here a few hours I should think! Happy Birthday mini choc!

JaxTellerIsMyFriend · 03/07/2012 21:00

I was just watching tv and it made me think of choco and if baby bean has arrived safe and well. Cant wait to hear all about it - minus the C section part!

Tomorrow is my wedding anniversary - so this little baby will be remembered each year, so I bagsy godmother duties. Wink

tribpot · 03/07/2012 21:03

Standing by for news! Hope all is well with the mini-choc, and that ex-h has been as undickish as he is actually capable of (i.e. not very).

MomentarilyLost · 03/07/2012 23:31

JaxTellerIsMyFriend · 05/07/2012 07:36

You'd think choco had something better to do than update us on her baby! Grin

Hope you are well choco.

chocoraisin · 05/07/2012 12:12

hello!! sorry all, my bloody phone wouldnt load a post lol. third time lucky ;) im on the weird patient computer tv so apologies for the typos!

Baby Bean arrived at ten past eleven, on tuesday morning. All 6lb 8oz of him Grin with a shock of dark hair and big solemn eyes. DS1 has been loving his brotherly duties, especially opening and organising beanies presents hehe. when asked if he likes the baby, he gave it considerable thought and decided on balance, no. BUT he is still proudly telling all the nurses that bean is HIS baby Grin. I am doing ok, the section cut hurts like billyo but my spd is much improved. Spent yesterday in a fog of oromorph and tears but am a bit more sane today.

Mum has been amazing, here every step of the way and keeping DS1 on side. H has been twice, in the evenings with MIL. Ive been ok with it surprisingly. I find it sad, but not heartbreakingly so. I know i can do this. Me and my boys will be ok. I feel more of a family now without him, knowing my little ones need me... Im proud of us.

You've all had me grinning from ear to ear and feeling a bit teary with your messages. Thank you all so much! Anyone who waants to know his name can pm me Grin and i'll spill the beans x

DoingItForMyself · 05/07/2012 12:23

Ah bless congratulations! Thanks Love little DS deciding he doesn't really like him, but he's still HIS baby! He will love him to bits before you know it.

Glad you're coping ok with the X situation, we knew you would, and hope you're soon feeling better. Loads of love to you all.

Is his name 'bean' based at all? I'm thinking Heinz!

TimeForMeAndDD · 05/07/2012 12:23

CONGRATULATION!! And welcome to the world baby Choco Smile

Congratulations, choco - glad the SPD is easing, I hope it's soon a distant memory and your C-sec pain too! Wonderful that your Mum has been there and so great - and wonderful that you are looking forward to the very visible manifestation of the future with his big solemn eyes .... aaaah it's so lovely!
[happy weeping] :)
