I didn't mention it and he didn't stare at it. What a gent! I don't think he was staring at my tits either ... or he was being discreet about it. We're meeting again, hooray!

Snapespeare · 21/02/2012 15:11

hooray!! :)

Phoenixx · 21/02/2012 15:26

Oh how exciting, very happy for you Flanelle :D

Just thought I would ask if any of you ladies are on Facebook for chatting and I would like to join the exclusive cock shot group, not that I have had any yet damnit.

Snapespeare · 21/02/2012 16:38

Got a date for coffee on Sunday. He seems nice but he is older than me and I have never dated someone older! got to decide on an outfit now!

Flanelle · 21/02/2012 19:41

Em, Plenty of Fish and OKCupid are free, as is Oasis I think.

Meet in public whenever you're ready & always let someone you trust know who, where, what, when etc & check in with the when your date's over.

Whether to shag on the first date or not... well you're on your own there.

Flanelle · 21/02/2012 19:43

How much older, PPD? I dated someone 20 years older ... I liked him, but he was from a different generation and it bugged me in the end.

MyLittleMiracle · 21/02/2012 20:07

My exH was 9 years older, i used to always go for older guys, apart from one, who was 29 days younger than me. Now i am just seeing who comes along and deciding upon who they are and how we match. At the moment, i am LOVING being single, and if i was to give that up, the person i was giving it up for would have to be sooo worth it!

prettypurpledaisy · 21/02/2012 20:41

He is 5 years older! I have always dated younger men. Have chatted and text and he seems nice so will give it a go. Not as if I have lovely young men beating a path to my door.
So new year new experience.

MyLittleMiracle · 21/02/2012 21:29

I have had a few messages, and i even decided to message back someone who was 5 years younger, and the tender innocent age of 18! What fun that could have been. Also spoken to a 21 year old. There are some nice people on here, but i seem never to get to meet them. Maybe i should ask, but every time i do, men seem to run a mile, was advised by a male last night that they like us girls to be a little shy sometimes, being strong independent women, does put men off! But thats just me!

AbbyAbsinthe · 21/02/2012 21:48

I went on my first date with DP (PoF) with a MASSIVE coldsore... And we're still together 10 months later Grin

MyLittleMiracle · 21/02/2012 21:50

I need you lovely ladies to help me answer a question. Do I fancy meeting up? He seems nice, gives me butterflies? Yes/No, onlyb een speaking half hour.

lovesadirtylie · 21/02/2012 21:59

I'd be a bit evasive for a while, find out a bit more about him before agreeing to anything concrete MLM have you seen good clear photo's?

hatesponge · 21/02/2012 22:27

Quick question: how young is too young do we think? (bearing in mind this is really only for something non-serious just sex really and not a relationship type thing...)

lovesineffable · 21/02/2012 22:35

I think the age of consent is the only absolute limit...within that depends what you're comfortable with, and if you feel ok about the person when you meet them.
Age and maturity dont necessarily correlate exactly:)

hatesponge · 21/02/2012 22:47

I like that answer :)

He is 22 (to my 39...though of course I look MUCH younger). He seems oddly mature though, has a v responsible job and a young child.

No harm in a drink is there? Grin

lovesineffable · 21/02/2012 22:56

certainly dont rule him out before meeting him..assuming that online interaction so far has worked ok for you.

I think that sort of age gap would be about the limit for me tho.
I often get the impression with younger guys that they feel I should be grateful for the attentions of a younger man.
I want to say uh-uh sonny...let be clear about who's doin' who a favour here Grin

(but I dont...it'd be a bit too patronising wouldnt it!)

MyLittleMiracle · 21/02/2012 23:03

I thought it was a little full on tbh, he is fit, i have to admit. He is a spanish, but has lived in england ten years, and a fitness instructor...you can imagine the body on him! But please dont he's talking to me! He seems to think I am nice. But i feell guilty talking to others. I was speaking to someone a couple of nights ago, and we sort of poured our hearts out to each other, loads of personal, really personal stuff, loads we have been through that we have in common, he has also been married, and is only 5 years older than me, so i wondered where that would go first. I get wanting to meet someone quite early on, but after half hour seems a little too early on.

I was right not to agree wasnt I? Fit he may be, but he could still be a twat right?

MyLittleMiracle · 21/02/2012 23:11

Just got a message from a cheeky twat. He says hello, i am xxxxxx and i am 31 and a single dad! There is only two problems with that....his profile says he is 36 (so already lying), and secondly no way does he look 31...more like 41! Sorry no offence, but lying never gets into my good books. If someone says on their profile they are 23, and then you speak to them, and they are just turned 24, or whatver fair enough, but to make out your younger than you are, not going to work on me!

hatesponge · 21/02/2012 23:11

loves if I get any sort of feeling like that from him it will certainly go no further than a drink however fit he may be. Part of me is slightly worried that he's going to look really young in the flesh (doesn't look unacceptably so in pictures) and I will spend the evening feeling like I'm out for a drink with my son Shock Blush

Must remember not to go to any of the pubs I usually frequent, just in case...Grin

MyLittleMiracle · 21/02/2012 23:18

Always somewhere you wont be recognised, must be! Or somewhere no one is likely to anyway. Thinking about (gulp) asking someone i have been talking to out (gulp), if he is online tomorrow!

PoppaRob · 21/02/2012 23:20

I'm 54. They always used to say the age of your youngest child plus 10 years was the lower limit, but given that my daughter is 29 that means 39 is my cut off. I live in the vain hope that some day a young slip of a thing will want to jump my bones so I think I'll ignore that rule just in case! :)

I'm actually seeing a girl who is much the same age as my daughter on Thursday. She and I were workmates and became good friends. We almost had a fling once but the opportunity passed when she decided hubby wasn't a bad guy - just very boring. The crush I have on her has lasted 8 years so far and shows no signs of abating. Her son and my grand-daughter will be with us and we're meeting at McDonald's so a fleeting kiss is as good as it's likely to get. I live in the hope there'll be a hint of tongue! Wink

MyLittleMiracle · 22/02/2012 08:51

Given that my cut off is twelve years old!! Think i will be keeping to 18, and legal! Anf fgs i cant get onto messenger at the moment! Is anyone elses down too? God damned microsoft! Maybe i'll have to moan at bill gates, and he'll give me his over night intrest.....4million pounds should be a start! Only joking, i would be doing some sharing with you lovely ladies that need it too!

watchoutforthatsnail · 22/02/2012 10:02

horray flannel.

Sponge - that would be too young for me. 24 was pushing it to be honest. When we met face to face i was blown away by how young looking he was. Seriously, it hadnt seemed noticeable in pics, but it was different in person.
