Hello, I'm Mouse and I have a very abusive relationship with alcohol.

I can't just have one glass of anything, I have to drink until I pass out or run out. Whichever comes first.

This Bus is a place of solace and safety, where drinkers, non-drinkers and those who aren't quite sure can come and post or just sit and 'be'.

No-one will judge you, no-one will think any the less of you because we all have the same thing in common.

Alcohol.

I am sober really pleased. Exhausted though so tomorrow will be a different challenge I can imagine, but for today I'm good.

Crap day too, Dd was a nightmare and I had to leave work early as she was refusing to go home and wouldn't answer her phone. Awful, I was so worried, she was fine though and git a big telling off when I got home. Could have so easily given it, but didn't

Good you're all ok and doing well, off to watch endless tv and enjoy knowing I'm not going to be hungover tomorrow ...

Feeling a bit down tonight, not sure why. Struggling with wanting to go to the off licence. But am determined that I am not going out for wine. I am not drinking tonight.

I will have a hot chocolate with toast and jam instead.

Hot chocolate sure cures my cravings. I had three the other night!

Modre you will be so pleased with yourself tomorrow. Stick to the hot chocolate. I know it's hard my lovely, but just take it minute by minute if you need to. Hope you're ok. This is a great place to come when the cravings hit. You will rarely be alone x

This will be the end of the 8th day. I have not drunk today. If I can do it today for one day, I can do it any day that I choose to.

Have been lurking rather than posting lately as my head is a bit all over the place (blimmin' depression - am sticking to reduced drinking rules, exercising regularly, eating healthily and it STILL comes calling). Glad to see that so many of you are doing well - and that there are plenty of newbies!

Good morning. Getting ready for work so cant stop and chat. I went to bed sober last night, and woke up sober as well. I do feel so much better but I took on a lot more fluids last night than I have been used to for the lastweek, so that might be the difference.

Busy day again today, so hopefully will wear myself out.

I also have a club night tonight, connected with my hobby that has no possibility of exposing me to drink.

So, today, I am not going to have a drink.

Still beats a hangover any day!!
DD has slept thru for the second time in a week - I am a fan of school :)
