I'll start.

I'm 31, single and rather fed up of it now. Have a few internet dating profiles, am trying to improve my social life and get out more, even looking out for possible additional temp jobs just to be.... 'out there' a bit more.

Even had a go at cosmic ordering which has been cropping up in dating related threads recently. Now I'm a very scientific and cynical kind of person but when it comes to my (currently appalling) love life I will try anything to give it a bit of a boost. Whether that be focusing the mind on the task in hand or strange unknown forces I care not.

Thanks Madam. I build musical instruments (solidbody ukes and mandolins etc.) and discovered that I could buy myself a guitar from one of my wholesale suppliers at a very good price, so I got rid of that one and picked up one that's similar size but has a solid spruce top and sounds better, not that I'm any good on the thing but it's fun. I'm currently using eharmony, although not for much longer because nobody bothers to either answer any questions I do send or even close me to say they're not interested

I also use Smooch, which is free, but not had any success on there so far. I'm not really being very active atm, as I'm looking for a job, so I'm spending more time doing that. I'm of the mind frame that if I see someone I really like the look of then I'll go on a date. If they don't fit my criteria, some of which is flexible, some of which is non negotiable, then I'm not going to waste either my time, or the little money I have, on a date.

I don't do short men either. Okay, in that respect I'm shallow but I like a man to be taller than me, even in heels, so I'm looking about 5ft 10in upwards.

Lubey try night nurse, it worked for me a couple of weeks ago. I also wore a jumper which helped me sweat it out a bit too.

Eharmony refused me years ago as I was seperated not divorced. (still not divorced, we are waiting for the 5 years abandonment thing as neither of us are bothered so will be next year) They wanted me to re join when divorced with the name and county of the judge that granted it. They can fuck off!

I didn't like smooch, the site is just so messy I had no idea what was what. I still reckon okcupid is the best of a bad bunch.
