notsorted · 16/09/2011 22:31

I've started giggling like a teenager, you lot are wonderful. Oh whatever happened to those teenaged evenings when you sat round with your mates, got pissed and chomped your way through the contents of the corner shop. There were no men boys there as I remember.

HerHissyness · 16/09/2011 22:32

X-post

Did anyone ever have those chocolate coated pretzels?... It shouldn't ahve worked, but my god it did!, DIVINE

Toblerone! The chocolate that hurts you (said in scottish accent a la Billy Connolly)

Go on, just one 'alp' then

Anniegetyourgun · 16/09/2011 22:52

I love Toblerone, but it doesn't 'arf kill yer teef.

It's a good thing I was working at the time, so I had control of the money. XH tried to say I shouldn't use "family money" for selfish purposes like... my divorce solicitor! OK then, I said, what money do you suggest I use? He had no answer to that.

BibiBlocksberg · 16/09/2011 22:59

Grin at no answer to 'which money do you suggest i use' Annie.

Though im sure it was anything but funny at the time.

Wonder where Madame is tonight? Got a very chic 'ooh la la' type frenchified bean bag for her (since her name sounds french and sophisticated to me) oh, and one with PawPrints on for Puppy.

Mine is fleecy and now completely covered in cat hair :)

BibiBlocksberg · 16/09/2011 23:01

AND one embroidered in diamanté musical noted for thisis.

ALL bags are personalised by the way for those I've left out of my list!

notsorted · 16/09/2011 23:23

Night, night my dears. I have ready supply of painkillers for the morning and have cross fingers that DCs all have lie-ins and the twunts in your lives are silent, peaceful and keep it that way over the weekend.

ItsMeAndMyPuppyNow · 16/09/2011 23:29

Hello, All!

I come bearing poppadums and pickle and chutney. I look the look of the red cotton beanbag.

Yes, difficult workmates and similar relationship patterns with them as with twat partners and personality-disordered parents: I was the sweet, gentle and hardworking one who got along famously with the colleagues from hell that no-one else would touch. The alcoholic philanderer. The bullying boss. The "I'm such a martyr and by the way all of you suck" narc office mate.

Not getting along so well with her these days! Grin She doesn't like my new backbone. Not one bit.

ItsMeAndMyPuppyNow · 16/09/2011 23:30

I look the look?

I like the look.

But I'll walk the walk and talk the talk if that helps! Wink

HerHissyness · 16/09/2011 23:39

My babaganush is to die for!

Aubergines LittleHouse!

Bake the aubergines in the oven till squashy, peel and mash em into a bowl. add garlic, cumin, vinegar and some water, oh and some tahini paste and mix it all up.

Google the recipe.

Touch more lemon fumble???.... Hmm you do know X was a chef, don't you? imagine the standards I had to hit? I made houmous from scratch recently, soaked the chick peas and everything! including making the actual tahini last time around from a bag of sesame seeds! Houmous is better with the tinned chick peas though!

X never wanted me to make it, cos it's not Egyptian or something... thebollocks

HerHissyness · 16/09/2011 23:41

And now you all see why I don't have the big job anymore... I work for myself and am my own boss...

have myself working to all ours mind.... and I do have to sleep with myself...

ItsMeAndMyPuppyNow · 16/09/2011 23:47

How is it possible to grind sesame seeds, Hissy? I have tried, but the little fuckers just stay in their tight little skins and slip away from the pestle. I have occasionally hovered over on-line order forms for an Indian wet grinder, but so far resisted.

LittleHousebytheRiver · 16/09/2011 23:59

Must try that Hissy thanks, will get some tahini tomorrow.

While sipping wine reclining on the imaginary bean bag avoiding fattening snacks I was phoned by a very nice man who wants to take me to a tea shop tomorrow after a walk in the rain. So it has all in all been a very pleasant evening.

Good night friends!
