Hello everyone,
I haven't been able to get onto the website until just now (seriously worried that I wouldn't get to speak to you).
Noteven you sound wonderful, well done for getting through without a drink.
Ma, Indie, Maude I hope you are feeling a bit better by now (mashed potato sandwich called for)
.
I have to say that I when I saw you were all having a drink last night, I really wished it was me, as well
. I couldn't face the thought of feeling like I did on Friday morning, though, and so I didn't. But, I don't feel much better for it this morning.
DC still asleep, and DH woke up, after being at deaths door last night with a hacking cough, etc, woke up bright as a button, and has gone to watch rugby.
I was sort of hoping that if he felt better we could have gone for a long walk, and come home to have a roast lunch, and an afternoon on the sofa. Me projecting again.
Has anyone ever read the short story "The lovely leave" by Dorothy Parker, different situation, but that's exactly what I do with the weekends, build them up, have them crash down, and Sunday night wish I could start over.
I do wonder if it was me, on Friday morning that brought on DH's symptoms yesterday, he always says not, but.....
Christian how are you? When is DH back?
Venus are you around yet, lovely?
Mouse How is Nemo not the best weather for him I imagine, warm, wet and generally yuk, well it is here anyway.
Hey, I was looking for holiday cottages yesterday, and saw one in Thurso
