We are the Brave Babes. We're on the Battle Bus, travelling around sobriety and going day by day, hour by hour, through the detox hell of not drinking, cutting down or sometimes even not.

Come say hi. We won't bite. Grin

No doubt one of us has been where you are now......

Morning Brave Babes.

Bloody wind! Two more fence panels ripped out and a grumpy DH.

No sleep for me as Nemo was very unsettled, not a huge surprise given the day he'd had.

DDs party today - 6 screaching 11/12 yr olds.

It's still blowing a hooly and pouring with sideways rain.

Too much to do and no time to do it.

Morning, just wanted to de-lurk for a moment to say thanks so much to all of you. I'm on day 12 having previously been a long-time member of the bottle of vino a night club - and a HUGE part of that is down to re-reading all these threads.

Thanks Mouse - early days and all that but I am sooooo chuffed with myself. Still got a lot of stuff to get to grips with (have been living like a hermit for the last 12 days - still have to venture out of an evening!). But I'm going to keep going one day at a time and not project. (See - I have been reading the threads:) )

Off to the cinema now with dh and the dcs and really happy that I won't have to come up with some crappy excuse to drop into the offy/supermarket on the way home in order to get some wine in for later.
