I went to bed in the end. You are all so lovely and supportive. I was all upset again, second night in a row. I guess it's natural - it's getting all the feelings out I was trying to bottle up for so long.
Am really comfort eating, need to do something about that soon!

Day 15 today, another weekend to contend with. Might be a bit tougher this time, DS is away for the weekend at a sleep over, cue me and DH getting wasted, loads of beers, bottle of whiskey etc, etc. It's going to be a real test, but for today, I will not be drinking.

Munkymaz I know it's going to be hard this weekend but between you you can do it! Second weekend for us too seems a bit harder in some respects but easier in others let's both get back here on monday saying we did it!!

Can I ask, if it's not out of place being a new passenger un'all, who is Nemo?? Seen the name a few times in your posts and am just wondering being nosy

Day 6 for me. Not a single drop of anything naughty since Saturday night. I may have a couple of glasses tonight, the "rules" DH and I set were that it is nada/zilch/rien during the week, relax a little at the weekend.... see how I feel.

Anon Nemo is mouse's son - he has a few challenges with his health so struggles a bit at times. (Am sure mouse will be along to explain better!)

silver - wont spoil the decking at all, sil does hers every year as it gets kind of slimy, works a treat!

bird - nemo is mouse little boy, he has very complicated health issues, has to be fed by tube, has severe reflux etc - is a super smashing little fighter!! and all us aunties love him to bits!

I have been out before Ma and spent loads some money on going out to celebrate a Birthday, Anniversary etc and then just felt annoyed at the money being wasted when I could have had a better night being at home and doing something special so please don't feel you have to go out to have a good Birthday (says the person who is watching a movie at home AGAIN with friends to save money) Sorry waffling

Didn't drink last night, am amazed at myself have got this far! realised this is the least I have had to drink over a week since I was pregnant with my DD, she is 7!! Had a really good nights sleep too. How are you doing twinny

Thanks for last night guys during my wobble. My friend came to pick her daughter up from mine last night as she had been round for tea, when she saw I was drinking non alcoholic beer she said 'Oh pour yourself a glass of wine girl' boy was this tempting as I felt I was given permission. I managed it though thanks to the babes

zany well done! You are doing so well! Feel rightly proud of yourself

twinny - I am good! Ditto that I haven't had this much of a break since pregnant with DD, who is 5.5 now.... crikey. I also slept very well last again, DH not so good on the sleep, but he is still chipper about keeping it going too so that is great.

Well done for last night, those wobble moments are tough, but just take a deep breath and remember your fantastic resolve. Be strong, my twin!

Oh thank you all very much indeed. Twill indeed be a quiet one but getting texts and emails and DS has made some of his super double choc chip cookies (he's 8 and a mini Nigel Slater) so we'll be fine.
