How do you feel about prostitution?

BillieH · 10/11/2010 13:01

Hello everyone, I have name changed for this(no sinister reason) but i do post on here from time to time.

Anyway, I would love to know what your thoughts are on prostitution. I don't mean political views and I dont really want to get into a discussion on whether girls are trafficked, pimped, druggies. Just what you think as a whole.

I am talking about girls who willing become escorts or work in massage parlours under the guise of 'masseuses' when really they provide extras.

What do you think of men who see them? Are that losers, sad and lonely, 'sex addicts'or what? Would you think your dp/dh was cheating if he saw a prostitute.

I ask just out of curiosity, I do not think my dp has ever visited a prostitute! Also, apparently 1 in 10 men see prostitutes. Do you agree with this. If this is true what hope do we all have eh?

My take is that i belive some girls use their looks to earn money an 'easy' way. By easy, I mean that they do not have to train for yrs to get a decent paid job, or they do not have to work 9 to 5 in an office when they can earn a wks wages in a day.

I have asked my own dp and he beleives that there is something missing from a relationship if a man sees a prostitute.Obviously its different with a single man. He also thinks that some men have issues sexually with their wives/partners and are inhibited. Therefore, that is why they pay for sex acts that they can't ask for at home. These are exactly my thoughts.Anyone agree or disagree?

I'd like your thoughts or experiences!

Yes

AnyFucker · 11/11/2010 21:59

I can have an opinion on your post, no ?

or indeed, choose to ridicule it, should I choose ?

you post what you want, include as many references to Hitler as you like, but don't expect everyone to agree with you

if Hitler had his way, all women (but only if they were racially pure) would have been prostituted to the Third Reich...would you like to chat about that ?

msmont · 11/11/2010 22:01

would you like to start a new thread on that maybe?
you seem to have hours of time to be let loose on the internet dont you?

MissHoneyMoon · 11/11/2010 22:03

Thank you so much Jean for your feedback and kind words. Feels very soothing after what has been quite a bruising thread. I don?t think that the Mumsnetters who also happen to work as prostitutes feel that everyone resents their chosen profession. Those with strong negative feelings tend to be the most vociferous and blinkered and tend to try to shout down a reasonable debate.

As for swear words, I am not easily shocked. I am just questioning the need to resort to insults and swearing at other posters instead of making a good and well reasoned point. The level of abuse seems to rise directly when bigoted posters fail to back up their arguments with any intelligent reasoning. Just because some Mumsnetters are possibly spending a lot of time around toddlers you don?t need to forego an adult way of communicating rather than childish tantrums.

Janos · 11/11/2010 22:05

Yeah AF I think you're right - surely he has better things to do though (like gazing lovingly at his reflection in the mirror new wife?)

AnyFucker · 11/11/2010 22:06

are you talking to me, msmont ?

I posted once at 2pm'ish and then a few this evening...it's easy to check if you care to

AnyFucker · 11/11/2010 22:07

since you are monitoring my posting habits ?

msmont · 11/11/2010 22:07

No sorry anyfucker I dont care to..

BillieH · 11/11/2010 22:08

Sabrina , why is wanking a male term?Don't you use that word?Is it because the terminology you use on punternet is Hand relief. This sounds so sooting and not at all like the sex act it is.

Malificence, some excellent posts.Particularly, by putting it into perpective with the '9 out of 10 men wouldn't'.

Btw. I don't think the prostitutes are doing themselves any favours on here. All this talk of watch where your husband is and the like, is painting a nasty picture of yourselves. Are you really so alluring that our men couldn't resist?

AnyFucker · 11/11/2010 22:08

msmont, go on, give in to your compulsion

tell me to go look after my husband instead of posting on t'internet, gwan

JeanBG · 11/11/2010 22:09

Dear AF
I object to violence of any sort be it physical or verbal. The violence I have seen on this thread has been directed at prostitutes. They have conducted themselves like ladies, some others sound more like a rabid blood crazy mob. I doubt they have any interest in listening and believe they can simply shout down any oposition to their views. That is not an approach I can respect.
Good Night

msmont · 11/11/2010 22:10

blimey one post after another

someones desperate for attention please feel free to carry this bitchfest via pm I am sure you are dying to tell me what you think of me ...LOl

quizling · 11/11/2010 22:12

I don't have anything against prostitutes themselves. I think they could do better and I hope they keep themselves safe (and pay tax, please) but other than that, it's up to you what you do for a living. I don't like prostitution politically and would rather my partner just had an affair than pay for sex. I do think most men wouldn't really want to use one, as I think most like to be liked for themselves and not because they are paying someone.

AnyFucker · 11/11/2010 22:13

Goodnight, jean

how quaint..."rabid bloodthirsty mob"

don't overstate your case, it does your status as a "ladee" no good at all

unless <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/40930000/jpg/_40930402_ladies_bbc203.jpg&imgrefurl=news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/humber/4360170.stm&h=152&w=203&sz=14&tbnid=8yeX8ARNdWcU_M:&tbnh=79&tbnw=105&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dlittle%2Bbritain%2Bladies&zoom=1&q=little+britain+ladies&hl=en-GB&usg=__5iea3GpcE2ZE9_gdWGmPGadgv0c=&sa=X&ei=YGrcTPWULI_54gas9_mpCQ&ved=0CB8Q9QEwAw" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">this is you

ElisabethAlice · 11/11/2010 22:13

Billie H why are you still using that name?

You revealed yourself as a man on Punter/Prossie Net.

punternet.com/forum/index.php?/topic/4602-i m-getting-worried/page_st250p_214102#entry21 4102

Why can't you people just go away and stick to your own kind?

Janos · 11/11/2010 22:15

I'm very upset no-one noticed my oh so clever Russell Brand joke :( I didn't use swears or owt

Thingumy · 11/11/2010 22:17

Little tip from a PN poster for us wives and partners to stop our OH from seeking out prostitutes (via Shirley's link earlier).

  1. Keep fit and looking good and exercise that pelvic floor so you can grip his cock tightly.
  2. Re-invent yourself from time to time so you look different, role play, dress sexy.
  3. Learn to enjoy anal, deep throat, and spunk everywhere. Facials, CIM, swallow etc and buy some ropes for tie and tease.
  4. Learn how to give superb blow jobs and hand jobs and if he still wants to use escorts tell him to find bisexual ones and bring them home.
  5. Have little chats when he is feeling really horny and try and find out what he REALLY likes sexually.

I will make sure I adhere to all Hmm

BillieH · 11/11/2010 22:19

I meant SOOTHING

OP posts:
msmont · 11/11/2010 22:20

err..no I dont
I couldnt care less about you or you husband
shame that eh !

MissHoneyMoon · 11/11/2010 22:20

ElisabethAlice ? my dear, luckily we are no longer living in a time where good upright morally sound women strive to keep us harlots outside the city walls and denied us the right to be part of society. Although it reads like it when I see posts like yours, this is not Victorian Britain. And there are no segregated online Ghettoes were you can try to send us to.

But please explain to me exactly why mothers who happen to also be sex workers and post on Mumsnet should have no right to do so? Most of us declare our earnings, pay tax and pursue a perfectly legal job. Yet you assume the right to judge us and want to deny us the right post our opinions. There are a lot more than 3 members, i know of at least 15 Mumsnet members that are also my colleagues.

AnyFucker · 11/11/2010 22:24

what gives you the right to comment on how often I post then, msmont ?

have I commented on anybody else's posting history ?

content ?...if you post shit, expect to be picked up on it

but stalking someone's number of posts is just a bit, welll, weird

ElisabethAlice · 11/11/2010 22:25

You whores pander to men, you undermine women, you steal our husbands, you spread disease, you are a constant threat to Society and morals.

How can woman ever be judged on their intellect when sluts make money selling their bodies, enticing men to stray? breaking up homes? causing misery everywhere?

What you do is disgusting, letting men cum on your face? Vile and evil.

As for paying tax, that's a joke, there's no such thing as an honest whore.

msmont · 11/11/2010 22:26
