Well, here we go ladies (and MIFLAW)! The new thread to follow on from JWN's 'me and alcohol have ruined my family'. I hope no one minds that I decided to go with 'brave'? I just think that it describes us!

As a quick recap, I am 33 and on day 22 of sobriety (on this occasion!)

venus me too. very strong and taken me totally by surprise. I don't know what to say to you other than that I'm fighting, but still as close as I was an hour ago. anything happened or has this just hit you off field too?

I am using my time reading all the posts that are on here today. Thank you all, at least it's keeping me occupied and away from the kitchen (where the wine is lurking).

I did snurk at algee's use of 'golly'.

I've just read what MIFLAW posted about the taste of alcohol after the taste of tea and it reminded me about toothpaste...

Went to wine tasting classes (oh yeah, like I really needed lessons ) and the tutor said never to bring our teeth before drinking 'cos it makes wine taste awful, mayonnaise too apparently.

Now I've just cleaned my teeth as a wine drinking deterent. Also bathroom is in opposite direction from kitchen where devil wine is sitting.

Actually the wine tutor said never to brush our teeth. I had to take mine as they don't come out nomally.

Right. here's what I'm planning to do.

I'm going to go and pick up the wine and put it in the garage. Dp will be back by 6pm, so I am going to text him and tell him there is a surprise bottle of wine in the garage. That way I can't drink it (or hide it for later ).

Shit, When did I become such an alkie.
