All views on The Archers welcome here! New blood welcomed, and of course we are always delighted to welcome back former or occasional listeners/posters. We don't all agree on all points, although we do mostly try to be civil about it. Most of us are posting tongue in cheek a lot of the time, so don't worry about revealing that you'd like to marry Pip, or other unusual views.

Well, I'm a bit frustrated. I have been wanting Rex and Kirsty to get together. Alice should stay out of the way.

I am really struggling to care about the whole bottling issue. I don't really care what happens to Ruari. And I can't imagine that they are seriously going to send Brian to prison?

Honestly, if Akram ends up with Meadow farm I feel it will spell the beginning of the end for me as a listener. He's been made out to be so incompetent with poor practical skills so far considering he's meant to be a professional tradesman. It's just utterly ridiculous. I just don't have the patience for it!

I think Rex and Kirsty will get there eventually. It won't last with Rex and Alice if it happens. Maybe intended to create a path for Chris and Alice to finally admit that they haven't got over each other.

I'm not looking forward to the Pip and Stella wedding - Pipistelle? But I'm even less looking forward to more relations appearing as new one off characters.

Also, why is no one in the Malik family trying to get Zainab to go to uni or get a proper job?

I switched on halfway through the episode and was confused as I thought Zack was Paul. Then Zack's accent changed by the end of the episode so more confusion...

I don't think the wedding will happen. Stella is obviously trying to convince herself that she'll be happy settling down Pip and Rosie on the farm. I'm guessing she'll come to her senses. Hopefully just shortly before the ceremony which would be quite amusing: Pip left stranded at the alter, Ruth wailing at Daaveed and Josh chuckling.

So popped back on after seeing the thread title bs reading the last few weeks synopsis. What a load of old shite the inheritance sl and the basking over the head sl and the amber in love with Brad/pregnant by George sl

silver lining is that Rochelle seems to have finally disappeared (I thought Rex was madlyni. Love - he got over that quick)

Whereas I feel that Stella absolutely deserves Pip, who is as truthful and honest as Stella herself.

That was a load of unadulterated pig ordure. No bar owner would keep a Rolex to see who turned up for it, any more than the Rolex owner wouldn't report its loss to the plods. And Alice flinging herself at Rex was sickmaking. The proposed outing being derailed by Rex was vastly entertaining though!

I think Ruairi's idea of farming is striding round the acres in a tweed jacket and cap with a broken shotgun under his arm, not messing about with stroppy mother pigs (though maybe his gigolo days gave him an insight LOL).

Yes; he didn't run so much as mark time in place. And her evident disappointment was very well done.

I don’t like Stella and I don’t Pip so part of me wants the wedding to go ahead so they can make each other miserable. I can’t see Stella living FT with Rosie for very long. She barely tolerates her as it is and isn’t there an issue with Rosie and Cleo the dog?

Malice’s pursuit of Rex is a reaction to Chris putting his profile on a dating app. I doubt she’s truly interested, she just wants to prove she’s ’moved on’. He must be the dullest character I’ve ever heard on TA.

Still, it might be an entertaining night out at the Brewhouse.

I like Rex. He's interested in things Iike the beavers and nature and he works hard. He and Kirsty and meant to be together. I thought he quite skillfully diverted Alice and turned the trip to the bar into a group event. He also mentioned meeting Kirsty in the Bull, I think, instead of going or a drink with her straight away.
