Spoilers thread for The Archers on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Sounds. All Archers listeners are welcome here, whether you post on our main Archers thread or not. There's just one rule: please keep all spoiler-related discussion in this thread and do not spill the beans on the main Archers thread.

We usually add the BBC teasers and cast lists for forthcoming episodes as they become available, plus the Radio Times and Daily Mail previews when possible. Feel free to add anything else you come across, e.g. cast news, scriptwriter tweets!

Thanks! Nose above water (just). Feeling some kinship with Anna Tregorran, let's just say.

I thought that might be the case.
Oliver!
Pip has a nasty shock. A lethal electrical one I hope.
George is in court, and, in a rare moment of self-awareness, worries about Esme finding out I hope she sacks him.
And Tracy's concerned about Helen’s move. Grin
money problems loom for Natasha and Tom. Sounds promising.

FizzingAda · 30/03/2026 13:40

I thought Helen was staying rent free at Toms?

😂at the very idea!

Madcats · 30/03/2026 16:10

Sympathies to Gaspode; Anna T is probably the closest the SW’s have been to writing the “elderly, frail but obstinate parent” SL. Everybody else seems to become silently compliant or able to afford The Laurels.

I missed a week, but are they planning to ditch Henry’s goats as well as the Angus’s?

FatRosie · 30/03/2026 16:15

@Madcats , I thought he was going to be selling them for slaughter.

HollyhockDays · 30/03/2026 16:57

Tracey not keen on having Helen as a neighbour.

But is it also because she has other housing options and it was supposed to be a house for lower income families?

I'd imagine it's more to do with it being Helen.

I am a bit concerned about the absence of Angus Imrie (he is a very private individual) but 3 writers last week seems to indicate some last minute rewriting.
My favourite line last night was that David and Ruth had volunteered Pip to do some gardening as part of the promises.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 01/04/2026 12:37

Well, this may be promising. <yes, I really do never learn> Hot off the press from Mustardland. The poster who supplied it says Khalil and Usha are in the cast list.

Radio Times 5-10 April
Easter doesn't bring much hope to Ambridge. Something happens during the church service that'll cause problems for weeks to come, and Oliver offers to take some of the burden off Alan's shoulders. He also takes Miranda under his wing after her break-up with the insufferable Brian. At his 21st, George contemplates his impending fatherhood and seeks reassurance from Emma - though she'll likely give him the truth, unvarnished. Chris spots something George would rather remain hidden - and it's not a price tag.

I doubt we'll hear from josh again, or certainly not for many years when he'll return with a different voice.

I've no idea what's going on with the BBC website. They have all the teasers above and the cast list to 10th April. Then it's Contemporary drama in a rural setting until suddenly up pops the teaser for Friday 24th April and the cast list for that week. So here they are. Den is father to Chelsea and Brad, Tracy's ex, played by the same actor as when he last appeared (which I have no memory of). No idea who Sophe is. Aimee Berwick, the actor cast, graduated 20 years ago. She is based in the West Midlands.

Friday 24th April - David is looking for help with the Borchester Show and Rex tries to put things right.

19 – 24 April 2026

Den's missus? At least Pip isn't in that cast list.

Thanks, @Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g .

TottersBlatantlyTowardsTheBaileys · 02/04/2026 11:59

Ah, I thought the happening in church might be Alan collapsing - but now, given Azra’s growing fondness for a ‘new arrival’, I suspect it might be a hawk. (Or something wild and un-churchy, anyway!)

Thank you as always, @Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g.

FatRosie · 02/04/2026 12:06

A bat.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 02/04/2026 12:07

Protected species, so unlikely. Could be a bird, I suppose.

OP posts:
FatRosie · 02/04/2026 12:20

I meant bats in the church belfry. Didn't they have them before - Alan broke the window.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 02/04/2026 12:22

Yes, they did. I was thinking of something Khalil would take in and hand rear.

OP posts:
FatRosie · 02/04/2026 13:57

Mr Hedgehog? Duke?

FatRosie · 02/04/2026 14:02

Maybe Zainab will use him for delivering takeaways.

Gonners · 02/04/2026 14:03

Are Lynda's llamas still alive?

FatRosie · 02/04/2026 14:16

2 of them, I think. Is Benjamin the donkey still alive.

Bugger, Pip is going to still be alive on the 10th. Can't Ruth run over her with the tractor?

Madcats · 02/04/2026 15:05

Did we ever find out why Keira ran away?
