Don't jinx all our hopes by naming them. Wouldn't it be great, though? David and Ruth would have to scour Patagonia for Josh, and might never return. Rosie would die of neglect, leaving only Ben to inherit, flog off the cows and convert the place into some sort of Woo-Centre.

The wars over Home Farm appear as intractable as the Middle East and are also starting to pull in its neighbours. This week Ed is encouraged to take sides and Martyn Gibson, tired of the squabbling, offers an ultimatum over the BL contract. It may seem like a peace plan, but Brian has one final trick up his sleeve, which could sour relations for ever. Pip considers her future health options, Helen has an offer for Tracy, and Amber has a dilemma.
