The spoiler thread runs for around a year, but I strongly suspect it gets read about as much as the main thread.

"Fallon" was attempting to be a a Norwegian(?) nurse in "Murder in the Orient Express". The accent wasn't easy for her to sustain. DH is 1/2 Danish and I watch enough Skandi Noir TV to have found it "interesting".

IRL she has (had) a YouTube cooking channel where, to me she sounds like "Fallon trying to sound less West Country". To my ear she has the same intonation, with less of the burr: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3w0eh-iv4PZ34Usp8IAPLA

The minute it was announced that Oliver is selling off a patch of land, it was perhaps inevitable that Justin would get involved. Here he is this week, using underhand tactics to gain an advantage. But then Lilian also has an eye on it, as do members of Bridge Farm and others - who will get caught in the crossfire?
Fallon finds herself undermined at the tearoom, Jakob has a run-in with Lynda over the Christmas show, and Adil comes up with a very ambitious concept at Grey Gables.

That’s weird, I was only thinking about Sykesy this morning, wondering what the latest is.

Thanks, Asking! I hope Gonners is right and it's Sykesy, not Rob, who needs the funeral. Perhaps Skyesy has left a recorded message for Ben asking him to arrange it and get his Gran to cater for the wake.

Turns out the red herring funeral was for someone nobody has heard of before, rather than Poppy's guinea-pig. I'm glad of that; I have nothing against that guinea-pig, and having a short back and sides from Chelsea seems enough for any cavy to have to put up with.

Was the whole point of the funeral to inspire humourless Jakob to do stand up then? Yawn.

That and get the listeners haring off after the idea it was to be Rob's funeral, I expect. I'll admit to having thought them capable of that particular horror.

I suspect the real purpose is to get Jasper Carrott to be the star turn at the Archers Christmas special. I am very easily amused so looking forward to it. Jakob's actor does deadpan very well.

It'll only work if they let Jasper Carrott do his own material, and maybe Jakob's as well. Given that the SWs think that any Grundy scam is hilarious, I wouldn't trust them an inch when it comes to writing something that is meant to be genuinely funny.

I see that future one liners include Lilian dropping a big bombshell and Alice having a big decision to make. I see Lilian selling her interest in the stables to Harry in Alice's future.

It is Justin who has money in The Stables; Lilian, as the ex-owner, is keeping an eye on Alice fo Shula but doesn't in fact have a financial interest, as far as I know. Justin was dissuaded from buying her a yacht with some spare money he had knocking around, so he bought into horses instead.

This coming weeks Daily Mail spoilers have not yet come to hand; I may scribble them out while I'm shopping today, or then again I may not. I'm not going to buy it!

There's no Fallon, so not sure why Tomtasha are rushed off their feet. Maybe Fallon will be silently working to rule or something.

Graham Ryder will be the auctioneer. This coming week looks a bit Grundy-heavy.

On the rare occasions when I read the DM (like when it's been left behind on a train and I'm bored witless) I usually find it toxic.
