Radio Times Ambridge Diary 2nd - 5th August 2021
Shula's starting to feel paranoid after an innocent comment is made. But her actions soon lead to trouble. An emotional Neil, meanwhile, is struggling in the wake of recent events, but his attempts to do the right thing only look set to make matters worse. And when tempers start to fray, he's left more bewildered than ever.
Over at Brookfield, David can't help but fear the worst following Josh's actions. But will Josh prove his dad wrong? Ruairi tries to cheer up Brian and Jennifer, who are still concerned about Alice. And debate rages about the identity of Lynda's mystery guest for the upcoming summer fete.
Daily Mail Weekend Magazine Archers Update 2nd - 5th August 2021
Was it Professor Plum in the library, with a candlestick? Or Colonel Mustard in the study with a revolver? Or Mrs Aldridge in the kitchen with one of her hefty Le Creuset frying pans - and a list of motives as long as your arm? Ruairi, who’s set himself the daunting challenge of lifting spirits at Willow Cottage, gets a game of Cluedo going. He hopes for a cosy, domestic scene but, as the game heats up, one member of the troubled and troublesome clan makes a confession.
Meanwhile, the doggedly decent Neil, who’s struggling with recent events, tries to do the right thing, but seems to be making matters worse.

We also don't get Alice, which is a relief. Maybe Amy rings up to report on her, or beg for help, whichever will be more unpleasant for Brian (the editorial team seem to enjoy pulling the wings off flies).
