I felt a bit for Nic with her pathetic gratitude at the crumb of affection from Will. God I hate him.

By the way, did anyone else hear what Joe called Nic the other night? I thought it sounded like Nicnac. It made me smile to think he might have a special name for her. I might have been hearing things though!

I don't know but Joe made me laugh the other day. He normally addresses everyone in his formal manner of FirstName SecondName. For some reason, he didn't namecheck Aleksandra Viktorova. I wonder why.

I've listened about four times and I'm none the wiser. It was Monday's episode, about 9:50. I don't think it was an affectionate nic(k)name - Joe doesn't do those - I think it was just a strange noise brought on by Farmer's Lung.

My user name is from Helen and Kate joining to promote fruit eating in the Farm Shop but ONLY an empty stomach (this helps with digestion and therefore longevity as does the kefir).

I agree with R4 that the uneasy truce between Will and Ed is quite realistic. The truce for the wedding was very much for Clarry‘s sake.

Well ... I would have said that editing a particular programme was rather different to commissioning programmes - but yes, he will at least know what radio can do. Rather than wanting radio to be television.

He sounds like a fascinating person I just googled him and found an old article about him in the Fail. I don't think he's someone who will need to create drama to make up for a lack in his own life.
And his comment about moving to Ambridge in the press release is hopeful.

I suspect you and I have just been looking at the same things, Bekabeech. He must be an immensely strong person to have coped with his wife's murder and bringing up two children alone while still doing so well at the BBC. I wish him every success.
