I think Canoe has done a very good job of clearing up SOC's mess. But from the SW's tweet Gruach posted on previous page it sounds like Canoe isn't popular with TA people?

Unless I misheard - the person on PM talking about Kennair-Jones' resignation mentioned a storyline in SOC's day that involved "Lynda and her chameleons" What story did I miss?? Or was that some kind of in-joke? Or a slip of the tongue? (Llamas/chameleons - an easy mistake to make...)

The woman didn't know what she was talking about. She seemed to think that SOC and the massive overkill on the HellRob story were a good thing. She doesn't like Huge having several stories on the go at once. I think it confuses her.

Re Keri Davies and Downfall - I think that had to do with a vile troll who tackled him on Twitter last night about the gay surrogacy storyline, his view being that that and 'miscegenation' were signs that The Archers was now totally degenerate. I reported as many of his tweets as I could.

I'm astounded at Hugh Canoe's precipitate departure. He's hardly got his feet under the table! He's off to be a drama commissioner at ITV, according to the blog post.

It is astounding. And, I can't help feeling - even if IABU - somewhat disrespectful to listeners.

But anyway! Now we know what will become of Lilian!

I'm really upset about Huge Canoe, I thought he was doing a grand job bringing everything back to Archers as normal, the everyday story of country folk. Gone right off Keri Davies after that bunker Tweet, not that I was ever a huge fan anyway - if his Tweet was indeed a reference to Huge Canoe, I mean.
Did I miss Adam or Ian roping Alice in to dissuade Kate from her "generous offer"? I thought I'd listened to all the recent epis, though I may have fallen asleep during them.
Justin is a shit of the first water. I want Tiger and Pussycat to get back together again but staying in Borsetshire, not swanning off into the Ecuadorian sunset..

Matt hasn't repaid everything he owes Lillian, has he? If I were her, I would be less than impressed if he's spending money instead on a luxury paid in Ecuador.

The whole Justin lil sl has been crappy but if he was just building up to getting rid of Justin then I think I can forgive huge canoe

I don't think his sl have been brilliant but he has certainly let the characters have their voice - unlike soc
