Maybe I'm getting old but there seems to be lots of references to modern life in the last couple of years, mostly done in a really try-hard way. So it was an online equestrian discussion group or similar. Why not just say he'd read it online?
I expect 'urban' is just another way of showing how 'sick' the SWs are which will pass a lot of people by.

No I don't think justin did that. I think it was a contrived storyline so that Lillian would find out about the matt/Justin fight. I have decided I quite fancy Philip.

Abra1d, the matter of pudding versus dessert was discussed at length on these threads- about 2 months ago?? Really not sure about the time scale but l think it was the previous thread. Sadly, too, l haven’t hung onto the crucial points of the discussion. All l can recall is that l was surprised by the comments and would have expected the opposite of whatever it was people were thinking would be right. maybe different because l‘m not English.

I think he is that controlling. He wants to kbow who she's talking to and meeting with. He did it because he doesn't want Lilian to find out about the fight. (She hasn't told him she knows, either, has she?) He doesn't want Lilian to know he has a violent side. He doesn't want her to know how much he has in common with Rob.

I think Philips might be all right, too. Not sure if anyone in Ambridge deserves him, though.
