I can't understand for one minute how Lower Loxley is free on 22 December when they are up to their neck with Deck the Halls and all the rest of it. So I'm looking forward to something really spectacular to go wrong, featuring both Matt and Justin's new lover.

I've only just realised that Kate is being played by a different actress and is thus not quite as grating as she used to be. I am v slow on the uptake, so she might have taken over years ago, but does anyone know when Perdita Avery became Kate?

Tim Vine's chatshow on Radio 4 is a half hour of ridiculous nonsense purely designed for Vine to make a string of pun-inspired jokes, punctuated with his painfully contrived songs.

I love every minute of it.

Then she was played by Kellie Bright, who is currently Linda (pub landlady) in EE.

Ben will be a shock when he does speak - we all think of him as little Ben in the cereal cupboard but he will emerge with soon with a deep, gruff voice. He's 15 now. He'll be taking GCSEs next year - do you think that Dave and Ruth know this?

Would it be too soapy for Matt reappear on the 22nd December and suggest an impediment to the marriage? I so want Lilian to not be sent down the same path as Helen where she saw how bad her paramour was only once on a murder charge. I’ve never liked Justin but now l HATE him.

For once l actually liked how Adam actor delivered his lines. I liked the ‘And l’ll throw in an egg too’ line. I thought having a sister as host was fairly common in UK surrogacy stories. But then it’s an unusual event anyway. I assume not receiving payment means less stranger benevolence.

I wanted to ask, just out of curiosity, what did/do those of you with Maths degrees do work wise? Do you use the Maths? D3 need not reply. We know his job! And obviously feel free to not answer if you want to keep it quiet

Matt can reappear this week as far as I am concerned, as he always livens things up.

I'd so like Ed to get a break for once, so although I think it's crazy I'd love him to produce some prize winning Texels. Emma is great on the whole and I'd like to see her rewarded in some way for her determination.

How much will it cost to renovate the Jack Wooley Pavilion (I am right there aren't I) to put in female changing rooms? Where is the cricket club going to get the money. (Justin?)
