Discuss TA (The Archers). New posters encouraged - it's not (too) cliquey here and plenty of regulars are happy to answer questions.

One rule: no spoilers (ie no mentioning future plot teasers from Radio Times listings etc) - there's a separate thread for that.

Yes Justin was boring yesterday -and that is something Lilian doesn’t need.
Does he think he’s “got her” already? Because to both bore her and try to push her into decisions sounds naive to be honest.
Maybe she would overlook the dubious pressure to take over her business interests, if she was loved up and having lots of fun. But a quick bonk after being dragged away from a party wasn’t enough.

I’m beginning to think Justin is a misogynist who doesn’t really expect Lillianto have brains.

Tonight's ending was a definite lol moment for me. Kate's brilliant...and v well acted.

You’re right - that would be even better. I was thinking Matt is always there if not in person in the shape of Ruby the dog (not to mention the two china dogs that Justin bought back for Lillian)

MrsArthur Yes she's ghastly , I didn't think that Noli was rude to her I think she was quite good considering how she's been treated by the "natural mother" Kate I noted that Sipho couldn't bear to even go to see her !

I don't see why Lilian should need Matt to look over the paperwork, surely she is just as capable of spotting any hitches....would be great if Justin came back to find Lilian had read the contract, realised he was going to cheat her, pondered the wisdom of 'creating a vacancy' and tells him to get stuffed.

From memory Amside was Lilian and Matt originally as a joint venture but mostly with Lilian running the business. Presumably Matt no longer has a financial interest in the business.

It isn't that long since we had a bride abandoned at the altar. Are we not due at least one ordinary wedding before the next disaster?

Matt should come back, Lillian realise she's making a big mistake and dump Justin.

Charlie should come back, Adam realise he's making a big mistake, and they should trot off into the sunset together.

Ian should realise he's not gay after all (OK, I admit this one is unlikely), get together with Helen, have a child with her, and make an excellent father to Henry, Jack and new baby.

Lexi comes back to take the FoH role so she and Roy can be together.

Someone should give Kate the real version of her desired birthday present, not the sugar-coated one.
