Don't think Lexi is coming back, more likely we will hear her on the phone.

The 🔮 thinks bombshell will be that she is pregnant with Roy's baby. It still thinks Roy will go to Bulgaria to be with her and they will run their hotel together.

QuaterMiss · 27/10/2018 06:17

New editor, huh?

You know how some editors hate to have anyone living alone (except Carol who rarely appears) and feel compelled to corral residents into strange and unwelcome cohabitations?

I'm wondering if LL will still be standing this time next week ... It might be a good moment for conflagration. No young Pargetters would be harmed. The business is already going to rack and ruin and needs a rest. The Stables have an accommodation vacancy*. No house to come back to would be another reason for Lily not to return (and she's looking increasingly like the new Lilian - was it Jersey that she disappeared to for years?). And fire damage will need months of renewal before the king in waiting is freed to lead his people into a new dawn.

*In other circs I'd expect Elizabeth to arrange to stay somewhere closer to Freddie - but conveniently he doesn't want to see her, so they can keep her in Ambridge.

witchmountain · 27/10/2018 07:09

That having no one living alone thing annoys me, it’s so unrealistic. We mainly hear characters outside the home anyway. Apart from Pat and Tony, who never seem to leave Bridge Farm.

There would be no point Elizabeth moving closer as Freddie is only allowed three visits a month. Plus there’s the business for her to run/neglect.

witchmountain · 27/10/2018 07:10

Thanks for the update Gump!

echt · 02/11/2018 07:07

That's a thought about no-one living on their own, so how would they interact? Endless piss-ups at The Bull or fattening cakes at the tea-rooms.

witchmountain · 02/11/2018 12:49

Just as they go about their day to day business and socialising. Take Bert, for instance - you rarely hear him at home with Rex, he's normally out and about doing something. The Brookfield lot are generally heard interacting over work rather than meals. Pip sort of lives alone but we hear plenty from her Halloween Grin. Likewise Elizabeth now. Jonny lives with Tom and Hannah but apart from the painful shagging storyline we mainly hear him outside.Etc ect etc!

witchmountain · 02/11/2018 12:50

Is everyone braced for tonight? Is Ben going to cause havoc with whatever bit of machinery it was?

QuaterMiss · 02/11/2018 19:03

Really hope it's only a small disaster. Don't feel up to any major trauma right now ...

QuaterMiss · 02/11/2018 19:05

And why LL again?

Sad
QuaterMiss · 02/11/2018 19:09

Worried suddenly that Ruairi isn't listed after tonight ...

witchmountain · 02/11/2018 19:13

well nothing's on fire yet...

QuaterMiss · 02/11/2018 19:17

Relief!

Grin
witchmountain · 02/11/2018 19:39

The 🔮 is biding its time...

Gumpendorf · 02/11/2018 19:56

Radio Times
4 November to 9 November

There can be no doubting it now: Lower Loxley is the most cursed property in Ambridge. Following the Halloween disaster last week, yet more problems beset the stately home, while Elizabeth appears dismissive as to the true scale of public feeling, despite Emma vowing that she won’t be letting the matter rest.

Elsewhere, Roy is delighted when an old face returns to Ambridge, but is soon disappointed when the reunion isn’t quite what he expected. Plus David metes out the punishments when he finds out about Ben and Ruairi‘s recent activities, Natasha makes her presence felt at Bridge Farm and Neil gets a shock when he discovers all about what’s been happening at Berrow in his absence.

God Emma is so chippy about everything isn’t she?

thanks for the updates. I think I might have a week off!

TigerDrankAllTheWaterInTheTap · 02/11/2018 21:52

You weakling, witchmountain! Grin

Thanks, Gump. Lily mentioned more than once - I wonder what that betokens?

witchmountain · 03/11/2018 05:57

I know, but look at what’s coming. Enraged whinging from Emma; Tom’s sex life; Roy’s apathetic whinging; pantomime baddy Hannah; Helen missing chances because she’s destined to never be happy; slightly more intense apathetic whinging from Roy; Lily being pulled back from university; more evil Hannah; Will’s grudging, resentful voice; Bad Lynda; Elizabeth cracking up.

Maybe I’ll have three weeks off!

TheMadGardener · 03/11/2018 15:40

Prediction: the horror at LL will be picked up by the tabloids; Emmur and Keerer will feature in Daily Mail sadface photos; Lily will get endless messages from her Borsetshire friends asking her WTF her mum was thinking; Lily will dash home to find out!

Miscible · 03/11/2018 16:54

I can see Emma abusing her parish councillor powers to try to get back at Elizabeth. We only ever hear her acting in that capacity when it affects her own interests.

witchmountain · 05/11/2018 12:37

What does the 🔮 make of the speculation on tv email thread about A Brookfield fire instead? 🔥

Who are the trustees of LL? I wondered if Oliver causing a stir had something to do with that?

witchmountain · 05/11/2018 12:38

Tv email thread = the main thread!

BoreOfWhabylon · 05/11/2018 13:12

The 🔮 says there is no chance of a Brookfield fire.

The broken biscuits are red- herring flavoured.

TigerDrankAllTheWaterInTheTap · 05/11/2018 17:23

I must say I'm enjoying the idea of the cows poking around the trough trying to pick out the broken bourbons from the bits of straw. Grin

witchmountain · 06/11/2018 13:27

Do you think they lick the cream off first before crunching the biscuit?

I had a pony who used to carefully select the bits he liked best from the muesli type mix he had and leave the rest behind. Incredible how precise they can be. I think cow tongues wrap and pull though, so perhaps not.
