I'm not sure if I can cope with Pip crowing over Josh making a terrible mistake.

Maybe his terrible mistake will mean Pip can never crow again...

I’m starting to muddle reality with the Archers - I just scanned back up the last update from Gump, read Bert treads carefully and thought “what, BertandRussell?”.

Don't get our hopes up, witchmountain, I don't think I could cope with the disappointment if/when she survived to be worshipped even more.

How do we reckon Tom and hatefulhann. are going to end up? Tom is certainly letting his trousers make the decisions at the moment, (being mean to poor Johnny). I think it's true to character, he must've been sex starved.

Tom/Hannah is sure to end in tears. Not quite sure how. Hannah may swan off with the new boyfriend, or sleep with Johnny, or Natalie may catch them and tell Tom to get knotted, or Hannah may want Tom to support her in her feud with Neil and Emma, and he will refuse and she'll get nasty. Endless possibilities, really.

Tom/Hannah is sure to end in tears. Not quite sure how.

Tom's going to bump into Hannah's date-bloke in the bathroom or over breakfast.

The 🔮 and I both think Tom and Hannah will end up as an item. It's what she was brought back for.

I think Hannah is supposed to be feisty rather than obnoxious, like Hellin is supposed to be doggedly independent.

Not hitting the mark there for me, unfortunately. Pity, as I dimly recall that Hannah was a pleasant character during her brief stay in Ambridge a few years back.

I know some people hated her but I thought they wrote Anisha as assertive and ambitious in her career, without being obxoxious. Tactless and sometimes thoughtless, but not just plain nasty. Although we haven’t seen Natasha she’s been presented in the same way - tactless but with ideas (which after all Tom was all but begging her for). So surely they can’t be getting Hannah wrong by accident?

Gersemi I was thinking similarly about the sleeping with Johnny which would be a bombshell because he'd get so emotionally involved it would break him up when or ,hopefully, if she goes.

So, Peggy buys Home Farm and converts it into a luxury care home for her, Christine and Hilda. Google image search “catification” to see the adaptions made for Hilda.

This maybe the begininng of the end for Christine. Those cats get under our feet ALL the time. (we look after 3 strays and one house cat)

We’re at that time of year again when Lynda is strong-arming the villagers to take part in the Christmas show. This year, the subject matter is a bit of a mystery, but when Jim discovers the true nature of what Lynda hopes to achieve, he may just be persuaded to get involved.

Away from the theatrics, a guilt ridden Peggy offers up a potential solution to Christine’s predicament. But will she be able to keep her promise? Elsewhere, Tom continues in his efforts to both develop Bridge Farm and impress Natasha. Plus Freddie loses his temper with Elizabeth, while a shock confrontation at Brookfield leaves the clan having to rally round. But toll becomes too much for one member of the family…

So this confrontation at Brookfield - can only involve some combination of David / Josh / Elizabeth / Shula, as no other Brookfield people listed. I’m guessing David v Elizabeth over Freddie’s guilt - leading to Elizabeth’s heart making itself felt.

Yes cheers Gump Do we reckon that if Lizzie gets Freddie moved to a more local YOI it'll be the one where Ellis is and that's why he looses his temper?
