Thanks Gump. Hard to see where things are going at the moment. The teasers seem to be getting more cryptic.

In an unexpectedly generous move, Josh offers to help Johnny with milking practice in preparation for his new role at Bridge Farm. But when David finds out, he thinks his son has an ulterior motive. Shula, meanwhile, has an evening out that ends in disaster and, as concern grows over a loved one, a family meeting is called at Brookfield.

Bert is trying to make Elizabeth see that all is not well at Lower Loxley, but with her mind firmly on another goal, will she take any notice? And as Jazzer continues to struggle with his bid to quit smoking, Hannah comes up with a novel way of taking his mind off his craving. Insert a mucky joke of your own choosing here.

I agree Bore. I think there has been a change of approach. Budget cuts? Radio Times still shows Alison Hindell as the editor so it's not that.

Thanks Gump! Looks like an interesting couple of weeks. Anna will be too late for the appeal, won't she, so maybe something else? I do hope Elizabeth pulls herself together soon.

Maybe Ruairi will be caught out and Ben guilt ridden in the third person!

Sounds like Lexie isn't coming back any time soon.

It will be very annoying if Lexi is dropped just because the 97 editors all declined to follow each other's storylines. I wouldn't really find it credible if she decides not to return.

Would you not? I could see her not returning. She didn't sound very enamoured with Roy when she left and a few months with her kids and away from Ian and Adam could have put her off surrogacy. Especially given her perception that Adam wasn't that bothered - I didn't think she was convinced by Ian's explanation that it's just the way Adam is.

It wouldn't be credible if she was just never mentioned again though - and the SWs are already stretching it a bit on that front!

Where’s Neil going?

Can someone please tell me whats going on with Lexi/Adam and surrogacy . I seem to have missed this, even though we listen during the week and usually catch up sundays I just completely have missed whats going on there!

After 2 failed attempts at embryo transfer (l think that’s what it was), Lexi went off to Bulgaria for a few months with her daughters and mother. She talked of coming back October-ish and lots of listeners think she’s scarpered for good. Roy is so miserable at her absence, he’s been rendered speechless. This is a good thing as IMO SadRoy is much worse than HappyRoy and that’s saying something.

I hope Ben isn’t involved in anything suspect re-arson. They can’t have another regular (even a silent one) involved in a court case and trying to clear themselves. The writers would lose credibility.

If there was an inferno it would have to be an outsider, IMO, that is not a character from an established family. So Ellis would be fine for that role. By the way, doesn’t arson have to be intentional? I think it’s not arson if it’s accidental. But happy to be told otherwise.

Probably not. I had in mind the manslaughter version of fire-setting!

Thanks @BikingBeatrix . I missed that second try at embrio transfer and then kind of forgot her and Roy existed the last few weeks. Roy is definitely a bit of a tiresome listen, but I was hoping for a success for Ian and Adams baby plans

When do you think they'll show who has been cast as Ruari and Ben?
