Sorry Grin

witchmountain · 14/08/2018 00:20

Re Jazzer, how about Helen’s friend Kaz, if she were to move to the Ambridge area? She seemed nice and down to earth. I’m sorry we don’t hear from her any more.

Gruach · 14/08/2018 06:28

The Archer heiress will leave the register office either as Fairbrother-Archer, or Juniper Archer, or both, tomorrow. Mark my words ...

Wonder who her godparents will be. Surely that isn’t Neil’s important favour? Would be difficult to find any since neither Pip nor Toby appear to have any friends. Poor Rex will have to be all of them. Though it would be an appropriate job for the young Hebden-Lloyd. And surely that won’t be the touching gesture towards Alistair?

ppeatfruit · 14/08/2018 08:33

Do we reckon that there will be a religious Christening, with godparents, is that Pip's thing? She's not a church goer like her Nan is she?

Gruach · 14/08/2018 09:22

Maybe not - but a christening is an opportunity for conflict so I doubt the SWs would want to miss it!

ppeatfruit · 14/08/2018 09:38

I quite like the Fairbrothers now (clever of the SWs to engineer that). Their mum sounds like harder work than their dad!. Do they have a stepdad too?

Guienne · 14/08/2018 10:43

Roy and Lexie were doing the deed, weren't they? ISTR Roy getting grumpy when she wasn't up for it due to the implantation.

Gruach · 14/08/2018 10:55

Think Simone (?) has a bloke named Hans. Not sure whether for life or just for fun.

ppeatfruit · 14/08/2018 12:16

Oh ha ha ha Gruach

Dd you mean to post on here about my last post on the 'proper' thread ? Come on let's hear Grin.

Gruach · 14/08/2018 13:08

Erm ... ... No. I just didn’t think it was an appropriate place for a lecture on boarding school. (About which I know an immense amount ...)

ppeatfruit · 14/08/2018 13:23

Oh go on. I know a bit. I don't have time to open a thread about those 2 RC schools which won't change their abusive ways and I wonder why no one else has.

witchmountain · 14/08/2018 13:47

Ah, boarding schools. A classic example of the mumsnet topic where it's not enough to be right; others must also be wrong.

Gruach · 14/08/2018 13:58

I haven’t said anything! Grin

Radio Times

With the cricket team numbers dwindling, one Ambridge resident finds herself unexpectedly recruited. Fallon, meanwhile is upset to discover the rumours circulating about Harrison and hatches a plan to save him from further strain.

Thanks Grump Nice to see that Oliver is back (even if it's temporarily). Maybe the actor is unwell. I'm off line for 2 weeks, But still listening!

D0do · 15/08/2018 11:20

Thanks, Gump! Bit worried about this bad news Ian has for Helen. Hope it doesn't involve Rob.

BoreOfWhabylon · 15/08/2018 12:03

Thanks Gump

Who is Natasha? Russ's wife? [hopeful]

witchmountain · 15/08/2018 18:24

Thanks Gump.

I hope this means they are actually going to get Henry some help. It seemed entirely absent after the trial. I don’t think it was even explained to him properly that daddy had been hurting mummy.

Wondering if Elizabeth will find Lily at the results collection, and if Russ will be around. Or does everyone just go online to get results these days?

Bekabeech · 16/08/2018 22:49

I'm glad Henry is showing some reactions to all that has happened.

IalwayswantedtobeBeth · 18/08/2018 20:51

There is so much bad news all round that I don't think I could cope with a returning Rob - but of course he may ...

Mootsie · 19/08/2018 00:15

Henry's always been a mixed up kid. Will they age his voice or are we going to be hearing about the behavioural problems of a silent character?

Gruach · 19/08/2018 08:28

Good point Mootsie - though perhaps this will be his last hooray before they retire the toddler actor?

Then we won’t hear him again until he’s old enough for sex and drugs and Little White Lies ...

Madcats · 19/08/2018 14:28

I am hoping for a "new" Henry. I'd been hoping that Helen and progeny had been relegated to the back of the scriptwriters' cabinet (along with Pip...little Rosie is annoying me already).
