Ambridge’s very own Odd Couple could be set for a falling out, with Jazzer complaining that Jim is even more unbearable since he quit his piano playing. In fact, he is so fed up with his landlord’s moping that he almost wishes he’d take it up again. And who’d ever have thought we’d be hearing Jazzer admitting to that?
Rumours about Alistair continue to spread and Susan - as ever – is quick to make her feelings clear. A remorseful Alistair opens up to Philip, but as the Hebden Lloyds prepare for an emotional conversation , it’s clear there’s only one course of action left to them…
Finally, Will returns to full-time work, while Elizabeth jumps to conclusions about Lily and Freddie.

There's no significance in Hannah and Russ being together on cast list afaik. The non regular cast are listed at the end.

I hope it's okay but I have joined mumsnett just for this thread. I have watched it over the years and you seem very knowledgeable about TA.

Watching is okay but I often want to ask questions, so here goes.

Does anyone else think that Alistair had taken loans against The Stables that Shula has no knowledge of?

That’s a brilliant thought. I’ve been struggling to imagine anything beyond Alistair’s 4Extra dalliance with Dan’s girlfriend - which I thankfully didn’t hear. A debt relating to the house would be fantastic.

I didn't see her as a drip HunkyDory, just someone who want to be good. I think this was in my (very short) wanting to be a nun period ). When I realised you could only be that sort of "good" if you died young or went into a convent I decided to live a normal life

I am glad you think the debt thing is a possibility. I just can't think what else it can be unless we are overthinking the "confesses all" bit.

Alastair should have forced her to watch a video of him shagging what’s her face.

I have never understood why people dislike Shula so much - although I appreciate people do. I would have been shocked/surprised if the guy who was basically saying he couldn't live without me and he wanted to stay married did this. She just needs to get her head round it. I imagine it will make it easier for her to leave the drip.

Were you listening when she had an affair with Richard Locke, while he was living with Usha? Was decades ago.
