Radio Times
18 March to 23 March

Ruth Archer turns detective when Bert mentions a notorious pair of brothers from the 1970s who offered Phil money to take their waste products. As soon becomes apparent, Phil turned them down, but Ruth takes her findings to Brian, convinced they’re the ones responsible for the contaminated land. Will she uncover guilty secrets?

Ambridge is also getting its share of Sport Relief action as Harrison resorts to unorthodox methods to beat Fallon to the highest step count. As the competition hots up, it soon becomes clear that neither are prepared to lose.

Plus Alice’s latest antics have devastating consequences for one family.

Debbie is included in this week's cast list. 👏

Ohhhh! Thanks Gumpendorf! Debbie...

Ghostontoast · 14/03/2018 06:39

I thought it was Jethro Larkin, Clarries dad, who worked for Phil Archer in the 70s, not Bert, who was new character brought in after Jethro was accidentally deaded by David.

Bekabeech · 14/03/2018 06:48

Ghoston - but Bert like the Grundies was brought in as a character who'd always been around, so he could have been temporarily employed or chatted to Phil at some social event or something.

MrsArthurShappey · 14/03/2018 14:16

Plus Alice’s latest antics have devastating consequences for one family.

Oh eck

MrsArthurShappey · 14/03/2018 14:17

Two days after that 'Clarrie struggles to forgive' - not more woe for the Grundys?!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 14/03/2018 16:49

Thanks, Gump! Alistair's world collapses tonight - please don't let it just be a disappointing curry ...

BoreOfWhabylon · 14/03/2018 16:56

Thanks Gump!

So, the Hebden-Lloyd marriage is about to implode.

Place your bets where Smugula will next cast her net.

I say she'll target Oliver (in the fullness of time)

StarsBrokenAgain · 14/03/2018 18:16

Urgh Bore Envy

Yes there have been quite a few "so and so spoilers that have barely even registered.

But then this is TA. Smile There is a level.

25 Mar to 30 Mar

There is anarchy for the Aldridges as Ruth calls for a private meeting. Brian fears she’s unearthed evidence about him allowing the Brantford brothers to dump illegal chemicals on his land. When the family find out about Ruth‘s request, all hell breaks loose as tempers flare and accusations fly.

Pat makes the acquaintance of Olwen, a homeless lady from the Elms. Pretty soon, she realises they’ve crossed paths before – how have their lives ended up so different?

Alistair and Shula are finding it tough to adapt to their new situation. And the true events around the hit-and-run come to light when one villager makes a shocking confession..*

Woohoo! Alice in chains and Brian in the doghouse by the end of the week, hopefully!

Thanks, Gump.

BoreOfWhabylon · 23/03/2018 11:21

Thanks Gump

Bekabeech · 24/03/2018 06:51

Thanks Gump!
It does sound as if they are going to treat Alistair and Shula's break up with realistic slowness (having to live in the same house etc.).

LyndaSnellsFeet · 26/03/2018 09:36

Excellent, that means Alice did it right?!

Gumpendorf · 27/03/2018 18:24

Radio Times
1 Apr to 6 Apr

Now that Will and the kids have moved in at Grange Farm, tensions are on the rise. Jake’s April Fool’s Day prank on George puts Emma in a difficult position – will she be able to cope, especially with Will continuing to spend so much time at Nic’s final resting place?

Susan is impressed by Neil’s new status as Berrow Farm manager. Neil, though, is focused on turning Rex into a successful pig manager – a quest that gets off to a bad start when his protégé (quite literally) slips up.

Adam is out of his depth at Home Farm as battlelines are drawn. And paranoia grows for one guilty party as they start to fear that the truth about the hit-and-run may be exposed.

There's no Alice in the cast list, but Alison Steadman is listed as Olwen Thomas.

OP posts:
BoreOfWhabylon · 27/03/2018 18:39

Well, that's all very very interesting! Thanks Gump

MrsArthurShappey · 27/03/2018 18:39

Hmm not Alice then, if she’s not in the cast list.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 27/03/2018 18:55

Alison Steadman! Ooooooooh. Gosh, that's an interesting development. Will Olwen try to get Pat back into all sorts of radical issues? No shortage of them at the moment.

Thanks, Gump!

scrappydappydoo · 27/03/2018 18:58

Long time lurker here - I’m wondering if the hit and run guilty party was Shula and Alistair decides to stick by her hence the ‘shock decision’ and ‘life proving difficult’
