What happened to the boy who supplied the drugs to Nolly? Was he charged?

echt · 27/02/2018 09:53

It was her cousin Freddie, and no police involved. In fact she demanded the drugs as I recall.

Radio Times
4 Mar to 9 March

It must be bad at Home Farm if flighty Kate thinks it’s down to her to save the business. Yes, the most unreliable member of the Aldridge clan is back from South Africa and making plans to increase revenue by accepting a group of urban kids into Spiritual Home. Expect a stumbling block to be hit almost instantly. Jennifer, meanwhile, continue to feed up Lexi like a prize calf.

Philip confides in Alistair that his fledgeling relationship with Kirsty is in trouble, thanks to an irrational fear. And it’s full steam ahead for Fallon and Harrison as they kit out their cottage – but their domestic bliss is shattered when they take on each other in Alan’s “no complaining for Lent“ challenge.

TheMadGardener · 27/02/2018 17:33

Blimey, who cares about Fallon and Harrison''s domestic bliss?? WE WANT TO KNOW ABOUT NIC'S LAST WORDS!!

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 28/02/2018 11:09

Thanks, Gump! Gosh, I can hardly wait for this year's amusing Lent storylline ... Hmm

Thanks again, Gump! Plenty of scope for speculation here, but I can't decide what's most likely. Hmmmmm.

Gruach · 28/02/2018 12:25

Oh goodness! What awful additional thing is coming to upset Clarrie?

Thanks Gump!

Gruach · 28/02/2018 12:48

Will still seems to be around so ... Clarrie’s visitor - police to say Joe’s pony and trap have been found unattended. Joe disappeared. Then found run over by an Aldridge and dies?

Must be something dreadful ...

Boswellox · 28/02/2018 20:39

Bought a reduced pot of "Kefir" in local supermarket tonight just because of the Archers. FWIW I listen to the Omnibus edition and the Nic dying bit did make me tear up. I got confused though and thought maybe the secret admission was one of her children being fathered by Ed.

BikingBeatrix · 28/02/2018 21:47

I hope they don’t go down the questioning paternity route again. Will is Poppy‘s dad. I feel it in my waters! l just wouldn’t find that believable. Anyway, Nic didn’t really say enough for it to be that.

Bekabeech · 28/02/2018 22:35

I think Rex is going to be offered Neil's pigs. And there will be pigs at Hollowtree again.

PseudoBadger · 02/03/2018 11:06

But they will be Toby’s....

Bekabeech · 02/03/2018 14:31

Toby wouldn't be good looking after pigs, but as Rex is getting out of geese and weaners sound less work.

Gruach · 02/03/2018 19:17

Oh dear. I’d thought Will’s decision would be about his stepchildren. Now it looks as if he might resign from his job ...

BoreOfWhabylon · 02/03/2018 19:40

That's what I thought too, Gruach. I said so on the other thread because of how he was with Brian.

Gruach · 04/03/2018 19:09

Now ... Is Jim tired of Jazzer’s co-habitation?

If Will did go away for a while would he have Jazzer house-sit for him?

A pleasing lack of mentions of the dreaded Pip over the next few weeks. Looks like the Aldridge fallout will be considerable.

Bekabeech · 07/03/2018 19:23

The shocking admission at the end of the month is intriguing- I think tonight doesn't necessarily mean what people think. And the Aldridge sound interesting.

BoreOfWhabylon · 07/03/2018 19:55

Thanks yet again Gump

What I take from all that is that Joe eventually reveals that Nic blamed herself for mowing down Matt, although she did not realise at the time but thought it must have been her as she was barrelling down the road at the time it happened.

When word gets out, Smugula make the shocking admission to Alistair that it was in fact her that dunnit.

Eventually Smugula fesses up. Clarrie struggles to forgive her for allowing Nic's final moments to be tormented with thinking she had splatted Matt. If Smugs had come forward at the time it would never have happened!

I actually posted on the other thread that I thought it would turn out that Nic hadn't done after all it before reading this thread, which confirms what the 🔮 predicted Grin.

BoreOfWhabylon · 07/03/2018 19:58

Oh, off the back of all this Shugs and Alistair split up. No doubt he will eventually make a move on Anisha.

Gumpendorf · 07/03/2018 20:27

Radio Times
11th to 16th March

Nic’s death continues to have repercussions for the Grundys as Joe offloads his concerns to a horrified Ed – will he be able to put his grandfather’s mind at ease? Will finds himself overwhelmed and Emma is shocked when her ex husband makes a rash decision he may live to regret. Clarrie, meanwhile, receives an unexpected visitor.

It’s an emotional time for Oliver too, as he delivers Caroline’s bequests. What will Alistair say when recipient Shula decides she wants a few months off in order to provide equine therapy for disadvantaged children? Plus one villager makes a shocking move, leaving a trail of chaos in their wake, while the ghost of Matt Crawford rears his head...

OP posts:
Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 07/03/2018 20:45

Thank you so much, Gump. Lots of food for thought here. That's not what I thought was going to make Alistair's world implode. Looks like we're heading for a Good Friday cliffhanger ...

Boswellox · 07/03/2018 20:52

Apart from the obvious dramatic impact, I can see no reason why Brian would confess to Jennifer his guilt re the contamination. It just rings hollow to me.
