And so it continues. We still have one long-term prediction from the start of the last thread that has not yet come to pass - the burning down of Lower Loxley.

But there is still time...

OP posts:

Radio Times 25 June to 1 July 2016

Pat is forced to hide her frustration when the Henry refers to his younger brother as Gideon. And worse is to come when Henry starts asking when Mummy is coming home. As for Helen herself, well, she is testifying at the hearing via video link – the first time she and Rob have seen each other since the stabbing.

At Home Farm, Kate is making final preparations for the launch of her holistic therapy retreat. Or rather, she runs around in panic while everyone else makes the decisions.

And the cricket team continues to flounder, much to Alistair's distress. There is palpable tension when Richard Locke – an old flame of Shula's – steps in to make up the numbers...

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 21/06/2016 07:06

Thanks, Gumpendorf. Poor Henry, how very confusing for him.

Gumpendorf · 21/06/2016 08:24

Alistair is in the cast list as is Richard Locke but still no sign of Shula. Helen is now listed as Archer.

Are long forgotten cast members being featured in SOC's last episodes?

TOTAL TV GUIDE 25 JUNE - 1 JULY

It's the long-awaited family court hearing and even though Helen is only present via video-link, she and Rob come face to face for the first time since the stabbing.

At Pat and Tony's everyone bites their tongue when Henry refers to his little brother as Gideon, the name Rob wants to give Jack, and it's all proving rather frustrating.

On a night out Rex and Toby bump into Lillian and Justin and it becomes obvious the two of them are having an affair. Well, at least to Toby.

As Kate launches her holistic therapy retreat, everyone's in a spin, especially her - but happily the event goes without a hitch. Well done Kate!

AugustaFinkNottle · 22/06/2016 18:03

Got the missing days:

6 July: Helen and Kaz find common ground, and Rob lays it on the line.

8 July: Anna gives Helen another option, and Lilian is in her element.

BlackeyedSusan · 22/06/2016 18:49

arse. it all looks too stressful

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 22/06/2016 21:33

Thanks, Gussy!

So the spoilers for the next couple of weeks look like this:

Thu 23 June It is time for Josh to face the music, and Pip quizzes Alice.
Fri 24 June Pat and Tony have a difficult evening, and Neil makes a decision

Sun 26 Jun Pat and Tony need to find the right words, and Adam is ready to spend.
Mon 27 Jun Neil reaches a decision, and there is big change ahead at Grange Farm.
Tue 28 Jun Toby makes an observation, and Rex is apologetic.
Wed 29 Jun Anna has a lot on her mind, and Rob makes his situation clear.
Thu 30 Jun Kate is feeling the pressure, and Pip learns more about Matthew.
Fri 01 Jul Eddie makes his move, and Helen cannot be cheered.

Sun 03 Jul Pat and Tony have to change their plans, and Anna needs to make herself scarce.
Mon 04 Jul Carol treats her daughter, and Pip shows she will not be conned.
Tue 05 Jul Kenton gets some shocking news, and Lilian has a birthday offer.
Wed 06 Jul Helen and Kaz find common ground, and Rob lays it on the line.
Thu 07 Jul Pip makes a suggestion, and Alistair blames himself.
Fri 08 Jul Anna gives Helen another option, and Lilian is in her element.

I think my earlier theories were wrong. If Dan was at death's door or Shula had been found in flagrante with Richard, surely we wouldn't have the HelRob story prominent as well?

MrsArthurShappey · 23/06/2016 14:10

Pat and Tony have a difficult evening Is it tomorrow night they're having Henry?

Pat and Tony need to find the right words could this be the 'interview' with the CAFCASS woman? If so, I fucking well hope they DO find the right words!

Far to much of Pip and the Goosebotherers in there for my liking!

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 23/06/2016 15:07

I think the difficult evening might be Henry saying Mummy is mean and his brother is called Gideon, and the right words could be around the handover back to Rob, or in response to Henry asking why Mummy is mean/why his brother has two names?

Not liking Rob 'making his situation clear' or 'laying it on the line'...

BlackeyedSusan · 24/06/2016 18:55

arse, arse arse.

bad night for henry then?

JudyCoolibar · 27/06/2016 08:16

If Helen can't be cheered on Friday, it sounds as if Wednesday's hearing isn't going to go well.

BlackeyedSusan · 27/06/2016 23:52

my thoughts entirely judy.

I am out on wednesday, thank goodness. I shall check in with the other thread before I dare to listen.

Gumpendorf · 28/06/2016 10:04

Radio Times 2- 8 July 2016

Pat is irked that Rob is muscling in on Tony's and her time with Henry, and voices her concerns to Carol. And there are further ructions when Rob again appears at Bridge Farm, this time with an agenda that leaves Pat dumbfounded.

Jill voices concerns about the Fairbrothers as Toby tries again to persuade Pip to record the voice-over for his film. Pip, though, insists the soundtrack needs to be authentic and she and Toby head to Lakey Hill to make recordings. Honestly, this production deserves to get an Bafta, the amount of effort they are putting in.

Finally, Kenton is keen to meet Wayne's elusive girlfriend Beverley. Good luck with that!

Gumpendorf · 28/06/2016 10:10

Writer is Mary Cutler. Elizabeth is in the cast list which also includes Alistair, Richard Locke and Miranda Elliot.

Also we are back with Helen Titchener Confused

ppeatfruit · 28/06/2016 15:46

Oh well we knew Custardgate was going to go on and on and ……. it's so effing miserable.

But at least we've got the Fairbrothers to keep us cheerful!! Grin

JudyCoolibar · 28/06/2016 19:07

Hmmm, I suspect that discussion about Brexit was a recent insertion.

Gruach · 28/06/2016 19:55

Nah ... Whoever it was wrote alternative inserts weeks ago to be shoved in at the last minute. Unfortunately they couldn't take account of the exact tenor of the debate right now.

So Adam sounds like an arse who doesn't care about the potential wrecking of peace in NI or the breaking of trust with Scotland - only about his herbal bloody leys.

And Lilian - who grew up in a farming community and is surely capable of reading a headline or watching the News - sounds beyond empty headed.

TheAntiBoop · 28/06/2016 19:59

So I've not been listening. Tune in at 8.45 two nights in the row and there's crap on then as well. What has happened to R4!!!

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 29/06/2016 11:54

I don't know if I can bear to listen tonight...

Gumpendorf · 29/06/2016 12:59

I suspect Rob will have to share access with Pat and Tony. Even Helen's limited discussion with CAFCAS should have raised some red flags. That's why Rob is muscling in on Pat and Tony's time with Henry. His control has been weakened. I suspect in return Rob gets some (supervised?) access to Jack. I'm not sure I want to listen. It all seems so badly done now.

Gruach · 29/06/2016 15:37

So it's the hearing today?

No proper PM, no Opposition, no England Manager, someone has "borrowed" my umbrella ... They really picked their date. My radio might as well just throw itself out of the window.

Might try a Stravinsky intervention instead and wait for news on t'other thread ...

Stickerrocks · 29/06/2016 19:21

So Helen has kept Jack, but the Henry situation hasn't changed. I still think that Rob is going to propose coming back to work, so that he can prove he can support his family, after all, Statutory Sick Pay is a pittance.

Meanwhile, perhaps Alistair is going to blame himself for the demise of the cricket team. Shula was always very attached to it after Mark's death, so he must feel he has let her down. I think the Kenton issue is linked to Wayne & his mythical girlfriend rather than the grim reaper coming for Dan. I don't think Shula is in the cast list for next week.

Gumpendorf · 29/06/2016 19:37

Good point, stickerrocks, access for Rob to Jack was never considered. It was the weirdest episode.

Shula isn't listed in next week's cast list.

Stickerrocks · 29/06/2016 20:19

But then again, given that Ian has disappeared down a sink hole with Stefan and Anya's other half & nobody has noticed and Chris did n't go to his own birthday party, it's perfectly feasible that Dan could die a terrible death and they tell Kenton as next of kin & forget to tell Shula.

ppeatfruit · 30/06/2016 09:48

I did wonder how the herbal leys could be be combined with insecticide\herbicides, Adam seemed quite happy about them. There won't be any insects or weeds so how does he think that will help the environment? Also aren't some herbs often considered to be weeds?
